Are all mums so bossy my mum keeps on yelling at me because I am always on the computer and my little brother is such a little !@$# if you know what I mean and my little sister is a pain in the #!$
Is everyones mum and siblings the same.
-
Poor you.
My parents dont care if Im on the computer all the time and by brothers and sisters are cool.
Get a job. It will give you time away to clear your head and focus on other things.
-
Move out when you turn 18 and you don\'t have to put up with their crap just over the phone XD
-
You just have to trick them :P It\'s easy. Every time they come into the room make sure you\'re working, and do housework before they come home :D
It\'s easier when you have your PC in your room. :P
-
Or do as I do, target at becoming a programmer for a living and join the PlaneShift Team :P.
Then if they complain, just tell them that you have 1 bug to fix (which can take days :P)
-
Yea, most parents are like that, so I just ignore them. My parents aren\'t bad about it, though. If I was on the computer for 3 days straight, then they might get mad, but I would probably get bored and go outside to do somelthing after that long voluntarily.
Sibling...pfft, my brother is too stupid to use a computer. :P
-
Just tell your parrents that you are planning on going into a career with computers, and that you are just practicing. :D that worked for me, and it wast a lie. Shut my dad right away. As for the siblings... They seem to get less stupid as they get older, or maybe we grow more tolerant of stupidity. Whichever it is, they get less anoying.
-
My parants are horrable:evil:! If im on the computer for ten mins theyll start complaining about how im always on the computer even though I just play music on it while i do my h/w. My little sister is only a year younger than me (im 15) and shes as mature as a 4 year old. Ill be out with some friends and when i come home she\'ll be on my bed eating chips and watching tv. Then when i sleep that night I feel all these crumbs so then i gotta get up, change my sheets, etc. Ya, im gonna move out the second im 18.
-
My parents dont let me \"play\" games on weekdays. It takes away from my school... ?( ;(
-
Haha, that sucks for you last two. My brother doesn\'t mess with my stuff, and I don\'t mess with his. And, you can\'t play games on weekdays? Five days of nothing but work? I feel sorry for you, Myrtl.
Shadowfalcon: If you were talking to me, my brother is older. He is going to the U.S. Army this July, so I won\'t have to put up with him for a while. Hmm, *thinks about what it would be like if his bro got shipped overseas...* :D
-
My parents didn\'t beat me but they might as well have :D (Try and see if you can interpret that)
-
My parents are ok, and my older brother and sister are ok, but my little sister is a b**** she is evil I am telling you... fear her
-
Oh, i feel so sorry for you... i guess siblings are always bad when you have to share something (but hey, they also want the fun of computer). As for parents... i just make sure that i always have a window with some homework open - and mark you the compy is in the living room, and i still get away with it... btw, i\'m 18 and at home. Trust me once you grow up your family wouldn\'t seem so bad if living with them saves you tonns of money ;) . They also go easier on you!!

Sounds about the same....
\"no comp or tv on weekdays!! you have to study\" pphht
good thing she doesn\'t get home till 6 :D
\"your wasting you life looking at a screen!\"
haha, your the one waisting your life with RL
-
My parents gave up with the Weekdays studying when i brought home a F+ on my papers. So they dont care anymore, tho i did pass all my class this mid-term! Hooray for me! Younger Sib\'s are annoying they do stuff u get blamed.
-
errr..
me and my dad played Everquest together for 5 years
we also play lots of tribes and other games, including P&P\'s
lol...yea i\'m normal
-
You actually play games with your dad?!?! Well, I guess that isn\'t really abnormal (ok, it is :P) but it seems odd to me, because my dad and I can\'t even talk without arguing, yelling at each other, etc. etc. So, yea...you are pretty lucky to have a dad that shares a common interest.
-
I have to admit because the reason my mum doesn\'t want me on the comp is because now it is the holidays I practically spend 24hours a day, 7 days a week on the comp. I am either on these forums or playing a computer game. this is off subject but does anyone have a comp game called \"Harbinger\".
-
yeah, I get in trouble after being on it so long too
That is where ALT+TAB and windowed mode come in handy :P
I am joking BTW
-
my parents:
DO UR HOMEWORK!
GET OFF THE COMPUTER!
GET A LIFE!
STOP WASTING UR LIFE!

My Sister when she wants to use the phone:
\"Mum, he should be doing his homework\"
\"He should get off the comp\"
\"He should get a life\"
\"He should stop wasting his life\"
Mum after an hour of my sister complaining:
\"Yeah, maybe you beter get off for awhile\"
My sister\'s only a couple years older then me and acts like my mother, its annoying :(
-
Now it\'s my dad, He bloody makes me do everything for him. He makes me feel like his loyal servent. He makes me do everything all the time and what !#$%s me off is that I have a 9 year old brother and a 7 year old sister. And they usually sit on the buts watching TV all bloody day.
-
Now it\'s my big sister who is p!$$ing me off. she came home, cose she lives in the city. she has come home and my little sister sucks up to my big sister. and now my F#%king sister is getting me into trouble with my big sister :(
-
Sigh... ya my mom makes me do the dishes and clean up the WHOLE house up alot! Its so annoying because while im doing that my dad is watching football :(
-
Wow. Life\'s so tough out there. I never knew.
-
Well I don\'t have a mom due to certain circumstances, but I do have a father. My relationship with my father?
\"Hey you want to hit some of this weed? It\'s pretty good.\"
Yeah, my life rocks. :D And no my dad isn\'t a deadbeat or a sleeze either, he just has an understanding that Marjiuana doesn\'t turn you into a complete moron if taken in moderation. Too much of a good thing is bad. Actually we live quite nice atm, with T1 and a $2900 comp. Not tryin\' to brag or anything, just sharing.

You should be glad to be able to help your mother with chores that she has to do every single day for years on end, with no gratitude or thanks, or even help. Mothers get alot of abuse from their kids because they havn\'t been raised properly to help their parents. Parenting is very stressful, and when your kids are teenagers and still can\'t do simple things like doing the dishes, life is hard.
I think people should stop complaining about their parents and actually think why they\'re being treated \"unfairly\". If you think \"unfair\" is \"do your homework/clean the dishes/help with chores\", you have some issues... and it is you with the problem, not your parent.
My 2 pennies.

unfair is why the goverment think they have a right to charge you more in tax then you get per moth on a natinal pension scheme...
you people in your pampered lifestyles dont know how easy you got it :P
-
:D you guys just gotta tell ya rents where to stick it, i just got the biggest room in my house, my dad bought me my computer, just got some more upgrades for it, i run on a cushty router and a 2meg modem im 18 im in my last year of college, i just lost my job and i sit on the computer all day until about 7am and you know what? my dad says to me :- \'you ok mick? want a cup of tea?\'

-
wow, at least someone here ( moogie ) is respectfull of their parents, the way some of you talk, you act like your parents haven\'t fed you for the last 16 years, or given you clothes and a house. be gratefull for once and get off the computer.
Post Script: or get your own :D
