If you are trying to register to this forum board, but the link on the email brings you to a page that\'s not found, please be sure that the link is like:
www.planeshift3d.com/wbboard/action.php?action=activation&userid=123456&code=123456
since we are switching servers, some emails can be generated as :
planeshift.oodlz.com/wbboard/action.php?action=activation&userid=123456&code=123456
in this case replace the first part of the address. This problem will be fixed soon.
If you have registered your account but are not receiving the validation email :
- Firstly, if you have a spam box, check it. Especially if you are using Hotmail.
- Secondly, make sure there are no filters that may be blocking the email from arriving in your inbox.
- Thirdly, and if all else fails, use the Resend Validation Email link, which was created specifically for people who are experiencing this problem.

If you receive the email but then receive a message saying \"your account has NOT been validated\" check this:
99% of times those problems are related to people not using the full url, but just part of it. In your email the url can be splitted in multiple rows, example:
http://laanx.fragnetics.com/register/verifyaccount.php?username=test@test (http://laanx.fragnetics.com/register/verifyaccount.php?username=test@test)
.net&verificationid=NGAuKI7e3svVCTVh2bVaceuka2rpr4wN
In this case if you click on the half link, it will fail. Be sure you get the whole string in your browser.

yes i havent gotten mine yet either, perhaps i have to wait longer.
Like above i also have a hotpop address.....hope that wont do any harm since i already remigrated with that address =\\

Ok. I am investigating this now. There appears to be around 70 accounts that have not been activated yet. I will take a look and see what I can do.

well i dont see why it would be hotpop since i did recieve me remigration email for milden (account name). Hehe, I just hope this gets fixed, and thanks acraig for looking into it, i cant wait to play =D

well tried sending some mail to my hotmail and gmail accounts from my hotpop one that didn;t work then tried sending mail from gmail and hotmail to hotpop and i still dont receive mail so i guess it must be hotpop

i never got the validation so i tried to use teh link above , but it told me that no account with that e-mail found or account has already been validated. but when i try to sign up for a new acount (forfiting my masses of cash) it say that this account has already been reserved...whats going on???

it says No account with that e-mail found or account has already been validated i know that i have not validated it, i think i typed in the email adress wrong do i still get my account. :(

Fragnetics has reported that some of their outgoing emails are getting stuck in their queue. They are looking at it so we appreciate your patience in this.

Still dont have neither migration nor validation e-mails though a few days have passed. After pushing \'resend email\' it says nothing and throws me to the previous page. And I sitll dont get the email

Yeah, me too, I\'m from Switzerland and got a Mail adress like:

But I don\'t get the verification mail... I\'ve been waiting since 1 week and i tryed again and again to resend my verfication mail.. don\'t nothing happend

Brand new to PlanetShift and the same problem.
Everything seems to go well with the registration process but I never get the emaill. Even after requesting resend.
I figured you guys might have got hammered since the slashdot article so maybe that\'s it.
Still waiting though...

most of the verification mails have been rejected by the destination mail server, due to spam protection. for example:

while we are working to fix our reverse DNS (we need to get our ISP to delegate IPs we\'re using to our nameserver), this IP has also been listed in mail.ru\'s blacklist (only planeshift is using that IP), and the content of the verification mail has also been rejected as spam before.
i\'m working on a way for people registering to check the status of their verification mail. unfortunately, our ISP does not provide us with an SMTP server, so that option is out..

Just an FYI on why my spamassassin filter treated the registration email as spam:
Content analysis details: (2.60 points, 2 required)
NO_REAL_NAME (1.1 points) From: does not include a real name
HTML_20_30 (1.5 points) BODY: Message is 20% to 30% HTML
...but it\'s really not that big of a deal, just remember to check your spam catches.

btw, if you do not find it in your spam folders, chances are your ISP has rejected the mail altogether.

Maybe you should send the verification e-mails from forum IP as forum registration e-mails dont make this problem. Or make verification e-mail content similar to the content of forum registration e-mails.

hi my old mb character name from mb was Nardia but i couldnt make it in cb. I think i might of misspelt my email which is NathanShaw125@msn.com if a dev could redirect it so i could use my character in cb be very very grateful ( lost over 8000 tria and my ring of past :( :( ) if u cant get it i still appreciate what you have done and thats cool, my new character name is Nadia

i am just wondering how long it usually takes for the email to actually get sent out. i mean the one for this forum took a good 5 minutes, but i signed up for this AFTER i signed up for the game. so i\'m thinking i am stuck here with a lot of people. no email for me yet.

I\'ve got the same problem.
Note that apparently account name is the email address you gave during migration, not the old character name. Took me few minutes of banging head to the wall before I realised it when I was getting the same message :)

I got an email confirmation for the forum - but I get the same message as above (no account by that name)?

You\'re hardly getting refused entry. Just wait, or try creating an account with a Hotmail address or something.

there is something strange with the account of one of my guild member : she said she never received any confirmation mail but there is already a password for her account : link \"send confirmation mail again\" said already activated
but she cant enter and moreover the password sender sent the password but she never receive it
I create another account for her with another of her email address and she said me she receive nothing... two provider two problems... I cant understand how she does but maybe is it another problem...
first provider wanadoo.fr
second : hotmail.com
Ive no news from her about the last account creation (last news dates from the day I subscribe her account)
Please tell me what do you think about that

I didn\'t have any problems personally, but for those of you still having problems, adding the sender\'s address to your contacts list might help. In this case it would be noreply@planeshift.it

OK I am getting the \"..account NOT verified...\" error after clicking the link in my email. I was originally using the truncated link until I found this forum. I have since copied and pasted the entire URL into the browser but I still get same error. BTW I got all my emails within 10 seconds.

OK I just read it. The account I created was just done about 15 minutes ago so I don\'t think it applies. Also when I try to create a new account it tells me that one already exists.

I\'ve some problems with the validation email also... Haven\'t got the mail at all. Registered .... 16h ago or so. Checked spams and such, tried resend.
