We would all like the game to be free always (especially the gamers), but I should think that someday (and someday soon most likely) the game will be to big and too expensive to be free. How much do you suppose it will cost a month?

We have no plans to ever turn this into a pay to play game. We will cross any financial barriers if we get to them. :)

You can do lots to help them :P Just donate like a few thousand bucks or something :) Guess that\'ll help alot :D

heheh i lovew free games. not many mmorpgs are free anymore so its good this one still is.

what i mean is that planeshift IS going to be free. Im happy about that. My game is going to have a 5 dollar monthly charge as well as the cost for when you buy it in stores and give me..err the company money :D

I mean no offense to the dev people...I think it is great you are doin\' a completely free game...I\'m just thinkin\' about the costs..I mean the servers...the maintence of them (power for them and people to fix them) and the programmers and all that...it takes cash, unfortunately...just sayin\' that if you can keep it free...cool :)

Well i hope it stays free b/c i have seen many games like this that start out like this and b/c of server difficulties and so many people getting on just other different scenarious they had to start making people pay ut i do hope that it does stay free and decently good looking i dont care about graphics and all that stuff i just want good game play and weapons and spells and junk like that sacrafice graphics for better junk i say and u would save a lot of money.good luck!! :]

Dear Sirs,
I have been an online gamer since the alpha of Sierra\'s The Realm. I have seen many systems, some good some not so good. Most have went the way of the KooKoo bird. I really like the Licencing scheme you have as it makes good Team and or Business Sense... However: What im not seeing is how you can support yourself in the long run.
I would LOVE to have a Linux MMORPG as then I can finally get totaly rid of my window partition. I for one would most happily pay a small monthly or an upfront 0ne time fee for a quality *NIX game. This has all the ear marks of just such a game. Please elucidate on this as I really would love to Delete that hideos Window partition!

Same here windows sucks compared to linux i wish that there was a really good mmorpg for it but it just hasnt been out long enough for people to get something really good for it yet i wish that there was though. Hey Dragear if you find one tell me so i can check it out.

That Rocks! Talk about community support! Well I guess you can tell I was raised on the Windosian way of thinking. Now im getting a bit excited, I think I will look into signing on as a tester ect.
