here is everything i could compile about this weird text problem.

this was found in psclient-notepad

crystalspace.font.freefont2:
  Could not open fontfile /fonts/ttf/Vera.ttf!
Creating psnetconnection bc29d8!

i also checked the ttf file and vera was there

I was getting something very similar to this when playing RoE. I therefore suppose it\'s a graphics driver / DX bug, not a PS one. I\'m not sure if the \"missing\" font actually has something to do with that in your case, since I didn\'t find the message you\'re referring to, nor do I get this problem in PS (might be due to me having swapped the vidcard in the meantime).

I have the same card and am having the exact same problem. Its annoying because this makes it to where i cant even get on cb.
