Title: Sharpened pickaxe

just a quickie...it doesn\'t seem to make mining any faster...is there a benefit to have it? cuz i spent alot of money on it. lol.

I think later in the game, the sharpened pick axe will perform better but eventually dull down to the regular pick axe. The sharpened axes are meant to be there to save time from resharpening your old pickaxe. This however cannot be done untill dulling of weapons and the complete mining system is complete.

Heh, it would be cool if we could buy pickaxes, sharpen them, and sell them back to the blacksmith for over twice as much... :P

Keep in mind that flint or anything used to sharpen a weapon will most likely cost money and degrade as well.

Another possibility is that sharpened pickaxe is better as a weapon than the standard pickaxe.  Haven\'t looked into that, though.
