Zellgadess and I have made a new guild called Raven Guard. We will have proper history, ranks ect. up later. Zellgadess is also working on a site. Plz post any ideas for the new guild. Oh and post if u wanna join too :)

Nice name, nice site(though the remote image linking signs are a little annoying), and the makings of a wonderful guild :D Would join the Guard but am already in a guild that I like.

The Raven Guard, is a new Neutral Good guild, with new ideals and ideas. We are not bound by outdated rules of old, we are here to change with time. Although we adapt, we will always live by the two sides of the raven. We will always Uphold and Fight for good.
As a good hearted person wanting to join Raven Guard these rules should come naturally, but this is all for clarification purposes. All of the things here are considered Evil and will result in being removed and shunned by the guild for the rest of time.
--Cheating of any kind is Evil, no matter how small will result in us turning you in to a Game Master.
--Any Type of abuse of other players, all abuse will be reported to a GM (note: Comical Role playing insults are aloud to me used against people\'s of evil nature, you know the difference. \"Your Father was a hamster! and your mother smelled of elderberries!\"
--Greed is Selfish and leads to corruption!, Thus, it is Evil! Stealing, Coning and Hording the communities wealth for your self is Strictly Forbidden!
--Murdering without reason...
--By having a character in the Raven Guard you agree that you have no other characters in other guilds and never will. If you want to spy, use in game tactics, don\'t cheat! Give Robinmagus a couple of pints and he\'ll tell you anything!
--Inactive! Ggggrrr!! One thing this guild wont be is inactive, if you are going away you must inform us, if you don\'t feel like Planeshift anymore inform us, Inactive members will be deleted, The amount of inactive guilds is amazing, Raven Guard will not! become one of them ^_^

I like the name of this guild and what effort has been put into it so far.
I \'m a fairly new player to the game but it looks like I \'ll be sticking around, or at least returning when time allows me to.
I could use some more help getting around in the game and it \'s always nice to get to know people so I figured I \'d join.

EDIT: i mean fight in a good way. not a caotic way. and plz. look at all other guilds before joining this 1. i made that mistake once. dont want u to too.make sure its the right one.

But seriously, an amazingly good site guys, especialy for a new guild, I usualy don\'t post in these guild thread because I am already in a guild of my liking, and it is even more rare that I post a good comment.
The ranks are well done, the idea, though not overly original, is very well presented, and you have a nice color coded ranking system.
I would suggest that you work on your grammar, some of the older people will even look over their messages before posting them. And the edit button is quite the beauty for...ummm...editing :D
Anyways, chances are I will have to kill you one day, but I do not look forward to it....much :)

Aye. Thanks for the good comments. The \"well done\" ranks are done by yours truly :) Of cource. the site and most of the rest of everything was done by zellgadess. i give him full credit. Kill me? i plan to have many elders and rouges protecting me by then.

Yeah well I can be quite the stubborn person with a lil bit of a problem with authority. That \'s why I barely come over as devoted to most causes.
However I am also a good team player and loyal to the team once I join. My stubborness is usually made up by my honor and loyalty. Once I know I \'m also wanted I will be devoted.
So .. nice speech .. but I just want to say blind devotion isn\'t everything either ;) I \'d rather have members who are sometimes reluctant but think for themselvers than those who are devoted and follow blindly. Of course sometimes one has to do the latter as well.
Oh and you don\'t have to hold back on me .. I can take it! *bangs fist against his chest* .. owwww *cringes* Dang that armor \'s hard! (yes I also have a sense of humor sometimes :P )

One shouldn\'t refer to a dictionary when trying to say something about symbolism. Dictionaries are used for literal and *some* figurative meanings of words.
Also the phrase Raven Guard doesn\'t have to imply guarding a raven ;)

All very nice reasons. heres another. yes. ravens might symbolize evil and darkness. but the term \"we will kill for the greater good\" means we wil kill. even if it is in an evil way. as long as ts for the greater good.

Back OT: Do you really think it\'s such a great idea to set yourself up as boss when you start a new guild? I mean, personally I know that if I joined a guild, I\'d like to have a chance to make the top ranks, how much of a chance is there for others to make it to Master Raven?

The chance? I\'d say if one of the master ravens went inactive...the highest some1 exept me and zell could get is head of the council of elders, which is pretty high. high enough for me if i where to join this guild. and besides. at least we\'re not one of those one man ruled guilds.. [EDIT] im considering letting in a third master raven...so the chance is slim..but still there, unlike other guilds....[/EDIT]

note that the ruler is an absolute dictator, in this case there are rulers and they have last word but if all goes as described they base their decisions on what the rest of the guild wants. I believe that you were trying to imply that there would be no voice of the people considered because that is what a dictatorship is, whereas in this guild if I remember right everyone\'s opinion is considered as equal.
Oh, and China is a dictatorhip and they seem to be doing just splendid! ;)

thx for the nice opinions?? well. we might be a dictatorship seeing as zellgadess has more important matters to atend to (good for nothing school) So...we\'re lookin for a member who can help zellgadess out with the website :D Just be able to do minor changes...add news..But im sure zell will be back in the summer.
