Hello! I\'m Nicolai and I wanted to get to know some of you fellow Plainshift members! Here is a place just to introduce yourself to some people and just chill out! So just come in and chill and mingle and get to know other people so you don\'t have to feel lost in this rule infested place. Mods/Former Mods will probably be here also for those of you just joining PS(like myself) and they might be able to help you get more aquainted with the \"Rule book\".

Interest in PS- I originally found this through http://www.mpogd.com, and decided to stick with it. I earned an early reputation as a habitual (and maybe even addicted) helper. :)
How long you\'ve been in PS- Since a few months after MB (ver 0.2 of PS) was released.
Why you like/dislike PS- I like it for its openness to contributions from anyone and everyone, its friendly + talkative devs, and its aspirations for the future. I currently dislike the fact that not many people Roleplay ingame.
Anything else you want to add about yourself- Me and Seperot Darkstorm are an item (both ingame and IRL), so hands to yourselves boys. ;)

Why you like/dislike PS - I love this place because even though its huge, you can always find your little niche and like-minded people, who are very nice and welcoming (in my case, that would be my precious guild, the Arcane Order <3 ). And should I say that I love RPing?

Heh you\'re right there, but it was MB when I found PS :) And it was still quite an early version.
My first day playing wasn\'t bad, just that I hate killing rats. In nearly every MUD you also have to start with killing... rats. Well, as long as they aren\'t entitled as \"giant rats\" it might still work. How many rats are you supposed to kill before you can buy a weapon anyway :P. And since I\'m a rogue, I\'d actually like to buy me dagger and use some rogue skills, or aren\'t daggers in the game right now? Would be quite stupid, otherwise I chose rogue for nothing and will have to buy a fighter\'s weapon instead of a rogue\'s one :(. And are the lockpicking and pickpocketing skills already usefull? I don\'t really know on what I should spend my PP.

Why you like/dislike PS- The price, of course AND the Mac version. However, the character creation process was not straightforward. I couldn\'t tell what effect the choices were having on my character.

Hi everyone, I\'m Dave 30 and live in Paris. I just stumbled across this game online and was just curious so I downloaded it.
Given I have a Mac, I had to go through some \"modifications\" as explained in the official site. Then I had problems even starting the game because I NEVER played an online game before.
Well, finally I got into the world and I\'m loving it! Even if I have no clue what to do yet (but I\'ve surfed the sites and I know where to go for that from this point on i think), It was great to just roam around and watch the scenery...
I have one question : Is time essential for me as a player, or can I do things at my own pace? I know it\'s a real time game but, by that I mean, are all the quests and items dependent on time?

Unfortunately, since I can\'t grace you with my true being, I\'ll have to settle for the limits placed on me by your realm. The next best thing I guess is something resembling a two legged version of myself. So you\'ll see me around as a Krylos. Yea its not perfect, but..*sighs* such is how we must be limited in this realm.

INTEREST IN PS: Well, I just love RPG\'s. This MMORPG is the best one I have ever tried if you consider the acutal role-playing.
I\'ve played active for about a week now and boy am i hooked. :] This game is just great! I\'ve met wonderful helpful people here that actually takes the roleplaying seriously.
The only dislike I have is all the people in the platinum mine that just use /spawn to get to the plaza to sell their ore quick! X(

Interest: I have been playing RPGs for the last 18 years beginning with Dragon Warrior I. I usually just play consule games. My first MMORPG was Final Fantasy XI which I could never play again because of PS :).
