Title: Why wont it work?

Sorry if this has been asked before but i cant find it on the forum. i just downloaded planeshift today, as i finally got my computer back and i was eager to play i managed to create a character (although i could not change his appearance) i chose a path aswell but then when i try to upload i get a error message saying: something unexpected happened in planeshift
exception at address: 00409CAD, exception code: C0000005 then it asks me if i\'d like to save a diagnostic file then it just closes planeshift. please help i was really looking forward to playing!
P.S. i tried updating it but i still get the error!

PLEASE HELP ME

its about diagnostics files

that and run the updater until it stops updating the files

This time it\'s more like a problem resulting of the OS. My PS, installed on W98, exhibits the exact same behaviour. It was fine until I updated.
But anyway, if you would have bothered to look at the CB bugs forum, you\'d have seen two (!) stickies that are related to this topic:

It\'s not hard to not find something if you don\'t actually bother to look for it!
