First of all I think the devs are making a more than excellent job!
Nevertheless I see an issue (low priority for sure) which should in my opinion be adressed if the devs see this too and whenever they find time.
Currently in a situation where differnet non-grouped individuals try to slay the same \"monster\" the one who does the actual killing has the looting rights even when he did only that single killing blow/spell. This encourages in my opinion and observation killstealing.
I think the one who did the most damage on the \"monster\" during the whole fight should have primary looting rights, probably opening up the looting rigths after a certain amount of time to everybody.
Maybe the one who engaged the mob first could also get a \"virtual bonus on damage\" for that damage comparison as this would probably further discourage kill stealing attempts.
Opinions?

I haven\'t noticed, but I always thought that the person who does the most damage gets the loot. Maybe I\'m wrong... ?(

i think it should be first to get the loot would get the loot :D

corpses pop with the items should the corpse \"decay\" before the designate decide not to collect, thus not wasting items.
if corpse decay is used to save cycles, then just make the items decay after a nother short period.

Well, and if you are new to the game, without a weapon, how easy would it be to do looting then? It\'s quiet hard to deal the most damage...

It should be the person that attacks first BUT is still attacking the monster through out not stopping to let someone else kill for him/her but still getting the item.

wrong, it should be the person who gets to the loot, to add to the realism of the game. although we would need open pking for that ;)

Actually, in some games, that\'s the way it goes... And it sucks X(
When a powerful guild attacks a really strong monster, and they fight for hours, a newbie can come in when the monster dies, and just take the loot!

OR, it could be how it is already, you have to be grouped togeather to be attacking the same monster, otherwise only one person is allowed to attack it

well, that is why i said open pking, if a noob steals ur kill, kill him and he drops it (it will auto drop everything u got in past 45 minutes, or you could fight for a weapon

make it the one to get the most blows :) and if a noob does take ur kill...tel em ur a GM, always works ;)
P.S. open PKing??? i think not. that takes us back to the runescape wilderness concept. One that i hate
