Title: rats too hard

i just started a new char just to check how will  it be with strength 135 :P

it war a new name so i didnt have any tria after MB
and had to go fighting rats with bare hands.

as i said i have strength 135 and i couldnt even wound a rat!!

i saw that someone else fighting with bare hands couldnt wound it either so its not my char bug.

since starting char have no tria even to buy a pickaxe to go mining and earn for first sword how is one supposed to start a game?

dont you think rats should be easier?

PS : i was atacking on blood as a Kran .

I noticed when I started a new character that some of the rats are bugged to have better armour than the others.

true, some are impossible to beat, others are easy as always (well, not realy easy since they bite back, as soon as they are two of them i have to run)

Ya the strenghts of all the monsters seem to change alot. Its actually very anoying becuase i have 2 broadswords and lvl 4 sword skill, 80 str and i had a hard time killing a stupid rat. Very sad

Yup, after gaining 2 progression points a few days ago from killing rats with my hands, I can\'t even damage them with a sword...

This is stupid.  Yes, I know this is just a game, but the rats have been SERIOUSLY overpowered here.  In RL, I\'ve seen people squish a rat\'s head in with 1 hand.

Methinks a broadsword should be able to kill a rat easily.

Odd, i never had a problem with training on rats, at first i was in a group and got myself about five progression points, got a sword and leveled up swordplay.  Then i leveled up about  2 more times, then bought another sword. Then i got one more level (level 4).  I struggled to kill one of those things in the arena, giving me about 2k experience points, did it again and got another 2k experience points (ignoring the fact that i about killed like 2 more of these things but that was interupted in game crashes).  Have about 20 pp\'s now am level 6 swords, and can kill most rats in 2 blows of the sword(well four really, but since i have two swords ^^).

This basic thing shows the two days ive been playing.  Not that hard ^^.  Plus there are rats that are stronger, but they just give more exp.

Ah well, if they\'re restarting the thing again mabye ill make sure my account properly transferes over ^^, something screwed up when i did it the last time.

They are overpowerd by a bug which sometimes made them get over hundreds of skills points. So we lowered all skills > 20 to 20, so certain rats have 20 in armor and melee, which makes them quite hard.

This will be fixed when stuff stablize
