Intelligent new player looking for guild. Has 5 months experience of MB and well over 2 years in MMORPG\'s including Runescape, Runescape 2, Utopia, and other various Medieval set games. 2 years of text-based RP background and 5 years experience in console games. Has great ideas and is about to complete downloading CB (4.5 kbps download speed; took me all night, bloody dreadful). Flexible and willing to fill most any position suggested (hasn\'t yet created character). USA, East Coast Time Zone (GMT - 05:00) Has AIM and MSN Messangers and email. Lots of experience with HTML and is willing to help find webspace and run a site. Post here or send me an email at Baddboy317@aol.com . Dont worry, I can speak in complete sentences ;-) Feel free to ask any questions and remember that I have yet to create a character so you may be able to mold me in your image :-p As a side note I\'m excellent at creating codes and ciphers to keep information secure.)
EDIT: I posted the name of a game that I have experience with and it was censored, not because it was a swear or profane or even contains objectionable material, but because it\'s competition to Planeshift and alot of the players here dislike it. In private I would be more than happy to tell you what exactly the game is, where there is no one to stop me from stating what in my opinion, was a good game.

First thing is first... What allignment are you. Evil or good?

Actually, lack of character may limit the number of guilds available at this point, or at least impede your choice.
The Character and Playing Style of a player are the primary factors of guild choice and whether or not one will \'fit\' in with the rest of the guild.
Be sure to check out guilds sites (like ours) to figure out who you want to join and who you want to be.

It is censored not because it is competition, but because there used to be rampant arguments about it. Flame wars are not fun. The devs and mods got tired of cleaning it up.
Plus, it isn\'t really competition because it isn\'t really \"Free\", it\'s \"FREE!!!\" with an asterisk.... :(
It is also censored because it is widely hated & despised by this community. I actually came from there, and to tell you the truth it was OK, but I don\'t want to hear about it. It isn\'t the game, it\'s some of the players there that are the problem. Sometimes some of the really bad stuff will come here from over there.
The mods and devs will not seek revenge if you say many of it\'s variants (runesc@pe, rune scape, runescap3). Though sometimes the mere mention of it can start an argument.

If you\'re refering to the alignment of your guild, I dont have a preference. Good or Evil, its fine with me, they both have good points in them. And if your refering to a personal alignment in the game, I\'m not sure, I have\'nt finished the download (should be another 30 minutes).

Well, I didnt mean it that way. I personally am more evily inclined, but if 2 guilds came to me; a poor quality evil one or a excellent quality good one, even though I\'m evily inclined, I\'d pick the good one if it was that much better. I can do neutral, too.

So now you say you are evil inclined but would still pick good because of quality? aye. should have kept that to yourself. heres a pointer. now that you said that. stay away from the good quality good guilds. they\'ll denie you in a second.

well Wolf knights a 7 day old guild is in the stae of letting every in we only got 3 members :( but he its a good start i think

building up a guild takes time and patience friend. Dont ecpect to have 10 members in the first week

I think someone is terribly missing the point of guilds... again.
As the welcome message in CB says: Join guild that suits your character best.

Visit Kada\'s and check out the guilds the has there.
Also, just because you are evil enclined does not mean that the character is going to be evil (could be fighting your nature) so I would suggest hammering out some more of your character dynamics before looking to hard for a guild.
If you are having trouble working up a character history try on these questions (on just pick any answer, hell use a coin or a die for the answers if you like)
A: Would I kill an inocent, sentient being?
B: Do I have parents or was I an orphan?
C: Did I have (or do I have) siblings?
{if yes to C} D: Did I injure any of them serriously in anger?
D: What game did I play the most as a child? (IE Marbles, Cards, The Hunt...)
Those are the first few questions I always ask myself, it just gets the charcter started.

Personally, I prefer to have a variety of different characters. I do not want any who is all the way right or left on the good and evil scale. If the Sentinels does not fit him and he wants to leave after a while thats fine he can. I dont think that this will be the case though. I want everyone involved as much as they want to be. If they are involved with the organization they will appreciate it more and truly feel that they are apart of it.

Check out http://tavern.blueglyph.net/modules.php?name=Guilds. A complete list of all the good guilds. Almost anything that isn\'t on that list is not worth joining.
First, I suggest you create your character. Make him how you want him.
If he is evil: check out the Cabal or Incensio Tenebrae.
Neutral: Calen Vakhar (If you are an elf), Mercenary Guild, Exploers, Arcane Order.
Good: Mirth, Holy Searing (Rebirth)
These are just some main guilds pulled off the top of my head, there are, of course, more.

Fear? You only need to fear us if you join perhaps the Cabali or another scumbag guild of \"Evil\"..its only a option you need to make up but let you not forget about such neutral guilds out there ^^

fear them because they are fanatics and should be put down...one mans good is another mans evil. ask yourself do you trust someone who uses caps to order you what to do to judge what is evil and what is not? I would advise joining a guild that plans to get rid of these religios fanatics before they start sucide bombing the rest of the our lands. :)

Hah, is it better to be the one killing the \"Evil\" or to be the one dieing by their hand? Notice how the first to respond are two of our leading \"Evils\" and the leaders at that ^^

\"Evils\" as in the Cabali and Incensio Tenebrae? By the way, when I said I was scared, it was because I felt like I was being preached to by an obsessive minister. Other than your little religous outburst, I\'m hardly afraid of you. Isn\'t it interesting? I\'m receiving invites from opposing guilds. More than one set of opposing guilds, might I add, 3 actually. Although I\'m enjoying the attention, I have to say that the options you\'ve given present me with quite a decision.

Scumbag? They way you act, its safe to say that you probably think every guild besides your own is a \"scumbag guild\". NEWSFLASH! They aren\'t, and maybe you\'ve been looking at the wrong guilds in terms of labeling scumbags. I can think of one right off the top of my head. Can you, Sep or Xordan? And incase you haven\'t noticed, I officially decline your offer to join Holy Searing. From what I\'ve seen here, I have better options. OOC: See this is where your knowledge of the game makes you look like a idiot, my role has always been destroy evil. I have many friendly guilds and I only consider my RP characters enemies scumbags. When in truth I am friends with Sep and Xordan and the only fighting we usually do is in RP. So before you go throwing stuff in my face next time know wtf your talking about :P
IC: You can gladly go on my enemy list :P As for a invitation out of my message to you earlier it was more like a calling, you could try and join but there is always a probationary period and by the looks of your words already spoken you wouldn\'t make it have fun with FESFES :P

Cant decide between good and evil (and maybe religeos ) well then, join raven guard. A god guild that will act in evil ways if its neccessary for the greater good. Err, back on-topic. You know, Kereshin, you are making a big deal out of something that isn\'t really a hard choice. Joining a guild. It shouldn\'t take that much time to see what guild suits you in the best way possible. Like Draklar and one CB Welcome Message says, \"Join the guild that suits your character best.\" It is common sense really. Are you planning to be Good, Evil, or Neutral? You said evil-inclined, so I figured you could rule out Good guilds and some Neutral that don\'t want too many evil-inclined members. Are you a Rogue? A Mage? A Mercenary? If so, join Rangers, Arcane Order, or the Mercenary Guild, respectively. Or, you could join another guild that is a Jack-of-all-trades. So, it is preference...
Don\'t make such a big deal out of it, and just choose something you like. It isn\'t that hard.

Depth: Who said I wasn\'t RPing? And anyways I really dont care to join a goody-two shoes guild (i.e. your\'s). Faldrok: I was thinking more Theif/Assassin than warrior, but I will have some fighting skills. If you didnt know, I can\'t yet create a character (PS Problems). And I almost have a choice for a guild, sorry if you think I\'m making a big deal, I kinda agree in some sense.
