Title: linux support for 2.x?
Post by: bobbens on January 01, 2005, 05:59:21 pm
Is there currently any linux support for 2.x that is not CVS?  Just curious, last release had a .tar.bz2, but now i just see the windows binary...

.tar.bz2 files simply use Power Archiver compression technonolgy.

About Linux support, I\'m quoting from the website here:

Support for nearly all platform: Windows (XP, 2000, ME, 98), Linux, Macintosh.

so what are you saying?  I should run the windows binary on wine?  Or is there somewhere i can find the source code or a linux binary?  I know the final version will have linux, macintosh and windows support, but does this one have linux support?

Currently there is no Linux binary for CB (I guess that you\'re referring to CB as V2.x (but it in reality is only V 0.3x), not to the Linux kernels > V2). Nor is there a MAC one, because neither is stable enough to be released, but both are in the making, so there ultimately will be.
