Title: CONNECTION ERROR!!!

I have three accounts on Planeshift

Before the last server crash (very often phenomenon i think... TOO often...), i was playing with one. Now when i want to reconnect using it, PS crashes everytime!
And when i use other of my characters, there is no problem!

So could someone help me about this sh*t? Thanks a lot

Note : i try to reinstall planeshift then reupdate but the problem remains

Maybe your character is stuck somewhere, where he should not be...

Try the following:
  Disable sound
  set mode to 800x600
  disable fullscreen

Then retry to load you character.
  -> If it works use /spawn to goto plaze and set back your configuration as you like... and retry to connect.

I try to do what you say but things remain the same :
partial loading
crash


I don\'t understand how my char could be stuck somewhere: at the last crash, he was on the Plaza and everything went well!
The only thing that could be influenced the current situation is my incorporation into a guild...

I see in another thread that the solution could be : ask a GM for a reset of my account

Login the other character (with which you can login) and check for people with light-red name above their head - these are GMs.

Tell them your bugged characters name, maybe they can help you and reset you char back to plaza (not sure about that).

I have just find one and he could help me. But when he had placed my char back to the plaza, the problem continues...
... So i think this problem is far more complex
(the GM is currently searching the reason)

If you are running win98 se like me it allways has lots of crashing. shame:(
