Title: Sound crash error
Post by: buhatkj on January 03, 2005, 08:14:18 am
Hello,
I apologize if this is a duplicate of any other error report, but I am experiencing a problem with sound in planeshift crystal blue.  If I disable the sound, it runs fine.  However, if I enable sound (using any of the available drivers, directsound, openAL, etc.) it crashes out during the map loading.  Not sure why.  The error message asks me to send the crashdump file to the developers, but I couldn\'t find an email address on the site to send it to, perhaps somebody here could tell me one and I would happily send it along if it would be of help.
I think planeshift is a wonderful idea and hope that I can help if even in such a small way as this.

also, this may be normal behavior but has anyone else noticed the eerie effect caused by the slow speed of the walk animations relative to the speed characters move?  They appear to be gliding as if on ice skates!
