This has probably been answered a thousand times, if it has im blind.

So i download CB, i run the updater like the player guide says, it gives me all the crap about updating the updater, goes wierd and tells me to restart the updater. So i do. Then it says the updater is newer than the one on the server, so i try the setup and the game, neither of which work. 3hrs later i download an unoficial patched updater and it updates perfectly. Now the setup works, but the client just gives me a black screen and that \'psclient.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for the inconvenience.\' windows message, the one where it asks you to send an error message to windows.

Any ideas?

Reinstall the game(?)

Honestly, I don\'t know.  I\'m playing the game right now just fine, even with the \"newer\" updater.

For anyone having this same issue, an unofficial patch has been created for the Updater.

I have used this patch myself, and for myself, it worked. But as a warning:

If you don\'t want to use this file, just wait for the developers to fix it themselves.
