Title: Caracter created but it froze. HELP

Ive created a character and have played the game.  but the second time i went to play it i couldn\'t create a new character or click join game. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got the same problem.

Second time I played, the game seemed frozeen on the character selection. I can see my previous character but the only working button is \"quit\" :(  I am not able to either create a new character or join the game with the existing one.

EDIT: I installed the patch http://planeshift.zarevak.net/updater.zip

Ok, went on #planeshift IRC channel yesterday (2005/01/06) and I was told that this is due to a wrong character name,  and that a dev guy (sorry I forgot his name) is working on it.

So wait and see...

For devs: this might be cool to post here just to tell us you know about the problem ;)

FYI: This thread http://www.planeshift3d.com/wbboard/thread.php?threadid=13045&boardid=17&styleid=3&sid=8def3ca8570235179982f437bc775e08 seems to be about the same problem. I found another one relative to that but forgot to bookmark it.
