Post by: calar on January 06, 2005, 03:09:57 am
Hey whats a good race for a figher! being a thief has come to mind, but i really want to be a mele fighter! can you tell me what race i should use, and also does BIRTH affect your character?

Birth effects nothing as far as I know... I could be very wrong though, I know little about the character creation process since I just ran through mine. I think a Kran would be a good fighter tank to use, and any birth is fine. Be sure to mess with your life occurances to ensure a good headstart for fighting. Leveling in planeshift isn\'t as friendly as some other games are.

Everyone has thier own oppinions on what is the best fighter. Each race has thier dissadvantages and advantages. It depends on how you build your character up. Personaly i like bring a dwarf for melee fights 8)

ah ok, lol! this thing is irritating ^^ too much options too choose! it should just be pick race/class and thats it :D

Im now biting my teeth trying too choose what parents of mine were ought to be lol.

I chose the dwarf guy, stonebreaker? to go for a rogue since he has strength.

I got alot to learn lol, i use to play FF11 just quit on friday, cause its friking expensive!! Im hoping this game will entertain me :)

If you want to be a rouge then i suggest you get alot of Agility. Mostly rouges/thievies are very agile. You should make sure that your best atributes are Str and Agi

I think that all the char creation short of looks change some sort of stat for the char.  I know if you mess around with them your stats will change and without knowing exactly how they affect stats all you can do is mess with them and see what you get.

Though in the true roleplaying spirit I just went through picking things thought were my char, without worrying what the final stat page said (though it seems my char is ahead of his time; all the skills he got are not implemented yet ;) ).

Then why don\'t you pick quick creation?

Ynnwns and Krans are good fighters, also there is some month boosting your strength...
