Title: Mac startup problem

I just downloaded the mac version of Planeshift!!! however when i click on psclient (i assume that is what i click) it starts up and i see the title page ina  new window saying PLANESHIFT. i hear music play in the background and after a few seconds it quits out on its own. My computer is MACOSX vers. 10.3.7, processor: 800 MHZ POWER PC G3, MEMORY: 640 MB SDRAM. So if someone culd help me. thanxs.

Exactly the same problem, game quits immediately after the music begins!

QS 1,33 Ghz, Radeon 9800, 1,12 GB RAM, 10.3.7

at least im not the only one :)
 It doesnt even go anywhere into the game. It just starts. i see a picture of 3 characters. A tiger, a stone guy, a human, and soem elf girl. Then to the left i see a tower with a bird nest. I hear this entry music for about 7 sec and then it stops. a few sec later it all froze. sry if i repeated my problem but i just want to be clear what is going on cuz iv been waiting a year for this mac version and cant wait any longer.

thanxs but i dotn understand the instructions. sry...
so if some1 culd maybe explain those instructions to me cuz under finder cuz when i click finder at the scrollbar at the top of the screen i cant see the word go or find folder. so if some1 culd explain it better.

Here\'s what I did; sorry, my steps require that you use the command-line. It may not work, but it did for me.

ok, try this:

1)Download the .dmg, and drop the folder inside into applications.

- if it\'s not in applications, then the following steps will have to be modified with the correct path to where the folder is.

2)Open up a terminal (located in /Applications/Utillities

3) type in \"ls /usr/local\" without the quotes.

- alsong as you don\'t get a message about the file not existing, you are  fine, even if there is no folders listed in the output

4) Depending on what softwear you have installed, you may need to create the folder \'lib\' in /usr/local.  If you see \'lib\' displayed after you typed in step #3, then you already have it. (if you have lib, skip to step 6)

- if lib wasn\'t listed, you will need to make it (see next step)

5) Create the directory lib with the command \"sudo mkdir /usr/local/lib\"

- you will be prompted for a password, enter your osx log-in password here. If it fails, use the password for the computers system administrator acount.

6) now, move the problematic file to /usr/local/lib with the command \"sudo mv /Applications/PlaneShift\\ 3D/psclient.app/Contents/Resources/libcal3d.10.dylib /usr/local/lib\"

- If prompted for password again, re-enter it.

7) you can now quit the terminal application, and run planeshift
