Title: Mining bug?
Post by: Arzosah on January 08, 2005, 09:18:10 am
I don\'t know if anybody noticed it yet, but in the mining areas, you can mine anywhere. Not just against the walls.
You can stand around in the grass, type \"/dig for gold\" and wait for your character to try and mine.

Isn\'t that a bit incorrect?  ;)

Yeah it seems you can dig in some strange places, but I don\'t see why you coudn\'t mine in an open area, you could as easily start digging in the ground, theirs enough places in the world where they just dig huge holes in the ground to mine gold.

But I have been able to mine on wooden rope ladders and so, and that is really strange (:

Mining the ground is quite natural, having to move after each dig is less so but then again we aren\'t in here to have a real life like environment are we ?  Although I admit it would be fun to see the holes made by your character mining (even if really hard to program)
