Does anyone know how the magic system will be?

I think it would be a bad idea to have to memorize spells before you use them(just like the mages in baldur\'s gate 1&2, icewind dale 1&2).
The magic system should be like the one for the sorcerer class in BG 2:Shadow of the amn.

Memorizing spells is a D&D and AD&D thing not just icewind dale and BG. Oh and the magic system i dont really know but i think it is probably going to be m.p. by the way everyone has beeen talking about it. :]  But i hope we have to memorize though cause i like that way its more realistic.

I\'m a little sad that there aren\'t more people that know things about the magic system, but what ever. Maybe later the PS team will publish infos about it.

I know a bit about it, but i think you would have to ask one of Developers about further information. I heard that there will be some runes, that would be used to make diff spells, but is what i have gathered from the posts on the forums. I am sure it would be more complex than that. :D

I remember from an early post, that magic will be somewhat like Ultima Online where you use ingredients, and maybe something like runes might be used too. But, I\'m not exactly sure, but it\'s just what I remember... :D
