Ok haven\'t been on here for a while (Couldn\'t be bothered). BUT I have been playing a new game from the S2 company. It is called Savage, Battle for Newerth. It is wicked. It is exactly like Planeshift. You run around with weopons and kill other players. It has a multiplayer characters just like Planeshift. Only downside of Savage is that it is not free and you have to buy a CD. I don\'t have the CD but I have a 14 day trial edition. Those who want to play it, Go out to a shop and buy it.

Hmmm... that sounds exactly unlike PlaneShift.  When I finally download PS, I don\'t know if I will kill anything, as that is not who my character is.  PvP PK? Not on my watch.

Correct me if I\'m wrong, but from what I recall, Savage is a mix between RPG and RTS. There are players (the commanders) that play it as a traditional RTS. Though, there is the infantry, that plays it like a MMORPG (1st person if I remember correct).
 Ah, and it does\'t have anything in common with Planeshift, and most of all, it sux, and it also have a very small community :P

Erm... Savage is a RTS/FPS crossbreed set in the future of Earth. How in any way shape or form is that anything to do with PlaneShift?

This sounds more like a commercial. Especially combining the fact that this was written on PS boards, with a phrase \"It is exactly like Planeshift\".

Not like planeshift. *cough*

And the pvp is basically just running up and ruining someone\'s day while trying to avoid yours getting ruined too I think.

Yes. It\'s called a MMORPG. Look it up on Google, and you\'ll find many games \"just like Planeshift\" (to use your terminology). :)
