Well I was just messing around and I walked along a very thin ledge and ended up in the little courtyard, it had a door, I walked into the door, and it took me into this cellar, I jumped over the clutter that was blocking my path, and kept on walking, The walls changed from a cellar look, to a gothic sort of style, and then I walked into this archway, and it started to load an area, and the area loaded, and there were stairs, I am travelling down them now. They are kind of steep, I keep on loosing life each step.
Err, is this place secret, or. . . :S
-
Welcome to the old dungeon :)
-
I travelled a bit, and climbed heaps of ladders and stairs, and I\'m now on the top of a really tall building, looks like the temple.
I can see everything from up here. The fountain, the church.
is this normal ? or a secret ?
-
You should not run down the stairs, just walk them.
Welcome to the old Laanx Dungeon (btw who else thinks this is a \"spoiler\"... ;)
Greetings
Meketh aka Dante
-
oh, what ever you do, don\'t step on those rails.
next to the steps, you will slide down the and die.
lol
So is this a secret/spoiler ?
-
No, its not a secret/spoiler. Just a place from the everydays life of MB. By then fall damage wasn\'t implemented yet. The ruins were the best place to find crystals (and now it\'s the best place to find something else ;))
-
Hardly a secret. :) It was the main crystal hunting location in Molecular Blue (previous version of PS). You could enter it through the temple well since fall damage wasn\'t implemented.
-
ah, ok, thanks for that.
\"(and now it\'s the best place to find something else )\"
Scary :P
-
About the very tall building you stand on that\'s not the temple but the tower in MB you could jump down of that without dying (didn\'t test it in CB yet :P)
-
In the times of MB, the tower was a great place for \"mass suicide\". Just get a couple of guys with you to jump all at the same time of that tower. Someone tried to screenshot or film it, but I think it didn\'t succeed. You coudn\'t do much else anyway then :P Too bad that mass-suicide ends now with lots of spawns in the Realm of Death :]
EDIT: Anyone up for mass suicide now? That would be nice.
-
Some nice screenshots but... I didn\'t think that it was a prison... I thought it were just some fences :P And somewhere near the place of the third screenshot was another place, but without a bridge to it... The ones that know the place should understand me (I hope so at least). I tried to get there many times, but ended up on the bottom again.. Sometimes someone was on the other side, but I never figured how I could get there... And I haven\'t been in the dungeons sinds MB. Time to check them out once again :]
And really no-one up for mass suicide? :)
-
If you want mass suicide you should either Buy lemmings or you should have been in the temple of laanx at the beginning of CB.
I also saw this other side doorway, but never got there. But soon i will make further investigations.
well if those are only fences, why did they fence away a small closed room? and why is this cage there?
-
I tried 3 times but every time I get stuck just when I have to take the last step to the top of the tower.
-
You havent been on the tower? I got there just walk carefully or ull fall and die. Speaking of which i fell there once and took no damage.
Btw those 2 hills you gotta go down after the long stairs. I always die there from fall dmg.
-
:P Atention all new people to Planeshift: 1000 other people actively play this game. I doubt your going to find anything new, no offense. Anyways the dungeons are nice, and kudos for getting all the way down to the bridge. I always mess up on the slick path next to the bottom of the circular stairs. Nice screens also, I like the shot angles. 8)
-
Is there anything down at the bridge? I\'m massively curious but i always die on the second slide spot, I tried using the rock next to the bridge to jump up but that didn\'t work :(
-
The broken bridge was fairly easy to get to in MB, if you were skilled enough at wallclimbing. :) It\'s impossible to use any known MB method of getting there in CB, since now you slide down slopes instead of up them (making wallclimbing impossible).
GMs obviously would make short work of it though, with their teleporting powers. :)
By the way, it\'s not really a dungeon, it\'s a labyrinth, with a system of caverns beneath. Zak the rogue used to live down there. And no, those little tunnels cannot be entered, there is no crouch... :)
-
We re-explored them quite a time ago with fellow guild members and the tunnel between the bridge and the part of the cavern where Zak stood in MB can be entered by Dwarves nowadays since they are small enough for this (by size only don\'t make me say something else I donot mean :))
-
Well for those who die of falling, try it with a Kran. The use to survive it (ya have to wait on the small standing thing to heal) hmm living down there. Would be something for me.

can anyone give specific directions on how to get to this tower?
-
Nope, find it yourself :)
Thats the whole point of it. All thre is up there is massive lag anyways.
-
The old dungeons, how i missed they.
The fun of travel underground and felt from the temple without die (great MB :)), its funny but i think that i\'ve lost some of my origns with this new version (new name, new friends, etc..).
Miss u MB :] ;)

The old dungeons are still in CB and they are not hard to reach.

But there are no crystals anymore :(
Hey! What about crystals in CB? Wouln\'t it be cool if there were *very* few spawning down in the old dungeon?
They could be quite valuable and the dungeon wouldn\'t be so empty anymore.

Did you recently visit the dungeon? It is not that empty anymore :-)
Greetings,

Do you mean all these guys with theire pickaxes, or is there anything else?
Somethings moving in the dark?

Well. Make sure you are well armed when you enter :-)

You can mine down there? Nice to know...
But honestly I was a bit disappointed when I did the tour... Nothing there but mobs who - as usual - don\'t drop loot. And those Thugs are really tough when one hasn\'t spent any PP on weapon skills so far :)
I\'d really appreciate if the devs\'d put some stuff down there to do besides killing. I\'d even try to talk to Zak again but not even he\'s there :(
MC. in reminiscence of MB
PS: Why aren\'t there any crystals in Crystal Blue? Just because there where no molecules in MB either?
