Title: Anyone Else Really?...

Anyone else confused by this game a lot...I have been watching Planeshift expand and grow for over the last 2 years. And still there are many functions missing, and I don\'t really know what the True point in this game is.......

its is still in alot of development, a tech demo... most features havn\'t been added, if would read around you\'d know that

the devs work for free in their spare time, the game will develop slowly

the POINT of the game is to make a game for free where Role-playing dominates, not powergaming, etc, like in everyother MMORPG out there...

When you say powergaming...you mean like those guys that share one character and train it 24/7 so they can be the \'strongest\' on the server?

not really, i mean those that play to level as fast as they can, PS is centered to be a true Role-Playing game, not just a leveling, hack and slash, but actually having a history and a story for your charcter...

That sounds good, but I really enjoy the hack\'n\'slash. :D Not to say I didn\'t enjoy games Icewind Dale/Fallout 2 though. :P

There will still be combat for those who enjoy it- it\'s here in CB already. But the difference is, killing stuff is not the point of the game. It is just an option. You will not be forced to kill hordes of monsters in order to level, since there are no levels. That means you can be a great player in so many different ways- you can be the best cook, the best smithy, the best animal trainer. Nobody has to be the best fighter. That is what makes PS so precious, our little gem amongst the mindless korean braindead H&S games that just breed 12 year old \"l33t\" idiots.
