\'K, you\'ve probably heard it before, but there\'s not enough money/monsters to go around. I was down in the sewers, looking to earn enough for my very first sword. *EVERY* rat had at least one character camped at the spawn point. Further, when I requested to create/join a group, everyone turned me down!
While it may not be a \"bug\", currently the game balance is out of wack, and it\'s really stopping people from engaging in the game.
My suggestion is this: can teamwork be rewarded? Can the devs [easily] change the loot/exp award algorithm to grow with the number of teamed characters attacking? Diablo II anyone?

sorry, its tech/alpha/beta whatever you want to call it. Sability first, gameplay after. The devs know there is a problem, and the\'ll fix it when they can

They have to make sure the game is going to run the way its meant to run. Right now there are to many problems with the game and its unstable server. When the game is fixed so that it will play right, then they will add more monsters, more options, and the like. They dont want to much going on and trying to add stuff when there game dosent run stable yet.

everytime I\'m in the sewers and I find a rat I kill it but if someone else is near I ask if he wants a rat to, if he\'s interested I kill the first rat, he gets the second , I get the third and so on,

Why not make a group and then kill rats together? Much easier.

killing rat\'s in a group does not get you very far in exp unless you figure out a bug so that\'s why people don\'t group for the rat\'s.
shareing the rat\'s is a better idea like gabriell say\'s. for the most part if you ask someone they will share the rat with you. i have only run into a few folk who don\'t have game manner\'s and hog the rat :D

hmm, here\'s a way to a possible solution.
What other creatures exist that would be about as tough as rats? I can think of unusually large insects (large beetle -> more armor\\less damage).
Where might they live? There exists the potential to dream up a second newbie area. If we can come up with worthwhile ideas, there is the potential for new areas.
You could also have lizards of varying sizes, the larger ones being suitable targets for newbie groups.
Maybe scatter a few fieldmice in a nearby plain (Is Yliakum still surrounded by plains?)
There exist numerous potential ideas for newbie areas/newbie prey.

I have an idea,
Worms can be the most basic monstar and you can get like 1 tria per kill.
And there should be no less then 100 with monstars spawning every 30 secs or so.
end-user is right we do need much more spawn points and easyer monstars to fight even if u have nothing besides your bare hands. But id rather get the \'basics\' in place before they do this. ;)
