My dream has come true!   Morrowind ONLINE!--- FREE


its a mod for the original, and you can connect to servers, or play over LAN with a friend.

Your charactor is not server-side. so no matter what server your in. you get the have the same char.

You can also attack other players :)

and share/trade items.

they will continue to improve it, this is only the beta :)

well now look\'s like this olde dwarf will have ta reinstall morrowind now (recently lost it in a reformat :(  ).
on a side note what char\'s have you played in morrowind and which one do you like the most  :D

Bah, old old old news. Youll get sick of it very fast, all it does it spawns an npc of the person your playing with and they behave exactly like an npc so combat is still the typical boringness.

i just tried it.

and so did my friend. hmm lol

well anyways. I cant vouch for it because i have still yet to configure my firewall for it. i will do it tomarrow

tell me how it works and what you think!

and BTW, it does more than spawn an npc of the person you play with, there is real time trading. and co-op combat with the person your with (although supposedly somewhat buggy, as stated by users).   more features im not sure about. but its not too bad i hear. it is a beta. and they continue to improve it. the forum-thread i got this from was updated 3 days ago

My sister\'s pos comp keeps ketting string overflow errors trying to transplant files, so I have not been able to use it yet. :(

Seems like thins wont come close what a TRUE online morrowind will be like. Damn man why cant they just make it. They get rich and we get happy. A win win situation.

Is this the same as the other \"Online Morrowind\" thread we had a while ago? I swear the other thread had everyone saying this was the buggiest piece of code they had ever witnessed, and I agree.

Pffft Heavens lookout owns online morrowind anyday :P
If you want to play you either have to have the exact same mods as your friend or both play vannila or youll get alot of bugs and errors. And if it wasnt as limited as it is there are so many bug exploits that can be done that you would get people with 50,000 hitpoints and enchanted items making them immune to all magic. Morrowind isnt designed for multiplayer and it shows, I played Morrowind online awhile ago and trust me, you will get bored of it within a few hours.
Because of the time it has taken for the mod to get to this stage, by the time it is worth much attention Oblivion will be here.
