This is quite a stupid, uninformed thread, if you ask me. You are here TESTING an Alpha version of a game. You don\'t like what happens in testing phases? You leave.

Yeah Moogie but do you think the guilds and the minds are in developement ? Are you telling to me my guild for example count for nothing just because we are still testing an alpha release of PS ? And a real question you have to wonder : do you really think the game will be frozen ??? Are you thinking one day Luca will say \"ok guys well done good job we abandon the project the game is finished\" ???? PS will never be in \"final\" release cause the day theyll stop to work on it there will be 2 solutions :
1) nobody continue and no server will continue to webhost it for free
2) some people will continue to develop it and another project will rise...

But to come back to our topics : do you think the guilds count for nothing in the spirit of this game ? do you think erasing data like those could be a good solution ???

Don\'t think for one moment that we like erasing all that data. The only reason we will do it because it is absolutely needed. Currently there are people (like me) with more than 700 progression points because I once got 670 in one kill. Several people have huge amounts of trias and so on. The current data is skewed.

However, we don\'t know yet how exactly we are going to delete all data. Perhaps the guild data doesn\'t have to be deleted. That all depends on how much dependencies there are between the things we want to delete and the things we don\'t want to delete. We try our best to delete only what is absolutely required. And we also try to best to delete at a moment at which we are fairly confident that another wipe will not be needed. That\'s also why we are waiting so long with this.

Greetings,

ok but ont forget you are developer maybe programmer and a programmer is able to create application able to do a lot of similar operations automaticaly.

If you have to erase the guild informations please try to create a program able to save these guild information and another able to give these data back.

I don\'t think it\'s as hard as creating a 3D mmorpg ... this is simply string management...

Howerver I would like to thank you for answering as quickly!
