Title: Updater doesn't update
Post by: kuragon on January 16, 2005, 07:51:22 pm
when i run the PlaneShift updater (1.0.2.2) it tells me:

Your updater version is older than the server\'s..
Updating updater to version 1.0.2.3

and message window pops up, telling me not to do anything until that prosses is completed.
so i waited some minutes and then looked in the taskmanager, but there was no task running, but the idle task.

and that happens everytime i try to update.

can anybody tell me how to fix the updater?

Ok, i\'m talking with the dev team. And it\'s bugged (incredible uh? :D ). They\'re currently repairing it.

So let\'s be patient! :]

Go to the thread in technical help forum there is a solution someone came up with where u juz basically unzip the updater.zip file in the planeshift folder

Ok, the bug is correcting. It\'s because of a missing file  :D

Gorrunwe:

I fixed it the other way, before you posted your warning. Please post again, if you hear of bugs caused by that way of fixing the problem - you seem to have quite a close connection to the devs,

thanks
