Title: no text after update

I had text, but after I performed the update neither the update screen nor the actual game had text, I didn\'t get to play yet for the reason that I have no text to guide me into it.

My spec:
amd athlonx xp 2400(?)
ati aiw radeon 9600 128mB
120 gb hdd
512mB ddr
win xp pro

any help is appreciated.  I ran this on my other pc with an older nvidia card 128mb and it worked, but the graphics were choppy, which is why I tried to install this on another pc.

sorry, didn\'t see the other posts about this.  I thought it was just my vid card
