I honestly don\'t know, but I\'ve been running the game for some time now on my mac, and I sure hope my machine isn\'t screwed.

Nice, it even fits into the setting. :)

Anyway, I would be surprised if this actually was a virus.
This file is, as the name suggests, a configuration file, i.e., it will not get executed, so any virus in it wouldn\'t be able to do anything.
Personally, I would use a linux text editor to open and verify the contents of the file, but this needs to be done cautiously, and not unless you have good experience with computers so you know how to ensure that nothing can be executed.

Unfortunately, I don\'t have a MAC, so I cannot offer to verify the MD5 sum of the file, and if it is a virus, it would be dangerous for me to advise on MAC tools, of which I know nothing, so you can\'t send me a copy of that file, for which I\'d otherwise asked.

Summarising: I don\'t think it\'s a virus, but better be safe than sorry, so you need to wait for dfryer, the MAC leader, to read this.

There might be a string in the config file that resembles a string in some virus, but it\'s sure not infected unless you\'ve been downloading stuff from weird places.
