Title: Keyboard-Shortcut to lower weapons

Id like to have a keyboard-shortcut to lower my weapons. In the current release I have to go to the Inventory if I want to unequip my weapons i.e. if I enter the tavern.

I definitely vote for this one. The way my character works (and most others I presume) requires him to walk around with his weapon put away for most of the time.

Other than for roleplaying purposes, think about it this way: Would you walk around with your weapon out all the time, or tucked away in it\'s holster when you can? Not even soldiers walk around with the weapons out unless ordered to. It\'s simply too hard :) (which again brings another wish to be linked with this: Walking around with your weapon out might make you more fatigued than otherwise, due to the extra strain on the body)

Id even offer to implement this by myself but i don\'t know if the devs like to integrate external code to their game?

This should already be possible with the /equip commands. I will check it out and report back.

Thanks for your answer. I didn\'t found any examples on how to use the /equip command, but I dont think that it really could substitute a keyboard-hotkey.
As I told before I offer to implement this feature by my own, but I dont know if youre take code from external developers?

Just in case there is someone else out there looking for the answer, the shortcut command you want is /dequip    :)

An example:

/dequip 1 dagger

Known for a while :} If we revived every old thread with what is now implemented, we'd find a very large task on our hands. Let's allow old threads to continue their hibernation until a true need for their wakefulness comes.

PS: The command is also within the Player Guide (http://www.planeshift.it/guide/en/reference-user.html#id2624745).
