Title: Character creation bug
Post by: frumbert on January 26, 2005, 03:03:06 am
I madea totally random character and kept clicking on the randomize button. Eventually I got my character to \"CP -120\" points. Any futher changes kept DECREASING the number, and I was told that I couldn\'t afford stuff - but the value kept going down.

I got this same bug. No matter what I picked I always got a negative score and then the \"you cannot have a negative score\" error.

well you cant have a negative CP score, it HAS to be \'0\' no more no less to make a charcter...

Hi,

CP points indicate how much you can spend over the creation of your character. Instead of adding stuff, you should try to take it away and probably it will raise instead of decrease,

hi

i\'m new to the whole game and i get the same problem.  i can create a character with the Paths options, but selecting individual things myself leads to a massive negative number (around -120ish) even if i pick the lowest cost options and take all the negative-cost life traits.

definitely seems to be a bug in there somewhere.
