Title: no more gaming with newest update

so... before the update there was no problem running PS.

but now... the world loading doesnt finish. i just log in, select my char and press join game.

than the bar gets full... and end. nothing more is happening. the programm doesnt react anymore. no failure message or dump file...

and the problem must be related to the update... anybody knows help?

(eh he and yes i searched around... no one seem to have this d**n problem)

I experienced this problem with an older client. I never did find a permanent fix, but you might be able to get it working by chaning resolutions. For me the game was running. just at 1/100th original speed.

since the latest update PS loads but after I select my character and join the game it crashes during the map load - I get a dump file (please email to planeshift developers) but I don\'t know where to email it too, and I dont know how to host a file and link it to these forums

AMD64 3200
1.5G ram
ATI9600 256Mb

I am a newbie who just found out this mmrpg.
Downloaded the installer,
Performed the update (v0.3.006),
Registered for the game,
Created a character,
Started the game and...

got the same problem of game being stucked, with 100% usage of the CPU. I tried to change the config, using different sets, but got no evolution of the problem...

check your setup, 1024 x 768, windowed, 32bit, software sound, vbo off, load all maps off.

all i can suggest :/

i started another upg (last one was 6h ago) and found out the file hydlaa.zip had to be downloaded again. I started the game and had the same problem as previousely... moreover the hydlaa.zip file appeared to be corrupted in the process

I tried a last time to upg (downloading again the hydlaa file). Then i exited the upg program and double clicked on the main application file.... and it worked.

The only thing that was changed (so it seems to me) is that i did not start the game straight after the upg.

Hoping it might help anybody encoutering the same problem.
