Title: Planeshift unexpectedly quits
Post by: Setsuna on January 29, 2005, 04:16:43 pm: When I click the file to play PlaneShift it goes on the loading screen and about 5 seconds later it quits and this pops up:

The application psclient has unexpectedly quit.
The system and other applications have not been affected.

I do not know what to do so any help would be appreciated.

BTW I use an eMac.

Title: clien unexpectedly quits during startup to log in
Post by: keatontheman on May 26, 2005, 03:58:47 am: when i start up the game window quits. and then it says ps client unexpectedly quits. it does the same thing to my updater. If i am lucky i get to the log in. I log in then an error says that i dont have right version. Please can someone help me or can the staff help me. Is these problems with the mac servers down or a computer problem.

Post by: AryHann on May 26, 2005, 08:36:27 am: You have to wait. From what I know a Mac version of the code hasn\'t been yet release, a version that is compatible with PS server.

About the crash, you might have it because of the sound or because you have old CS code and a file called flame01.tga in /art/effects. Check these out!

Post by: keatontheman on May 27, 2005, 01:12:59 am: i have that flame file, but what do i do with it. ALso i dont know how to turn off my sound. One guy said to go to ps setup, i did all it did was going to the login screen and it didnt work plz help. will i need to clean my hard drive to fix this.

My dad says it might have to do with the computer but i am not sure. their is also a flame number 2 do i delete that to. I just know that i cant start playing without updating. My computer meets all the recommended requriements. thanks for everybody who helped me.
