Title: TGTSNBN vs. EL vs. MMORPG

I just leafed through all those RS hate threads, and one thing that I\'m asking myself is: What is so bad about RS that can\'t be said about every other mmorpg?

I mean, have any of you tried EL? It\'s basically the same thing: All you can do is run around and click, hardly any RP going on, just the people aren\'t complete assholes (well, at least most of the time).

Even Illarion (for those who may know it) has, as it became more popular, become an arena for pubertarian kids who effectively destroyed almost all RP (which is why I left - before that, it was the best RPG ever in my opinion).

One exception may be some UO freeshards.

But, seriously, except the p2p principle: what illness does RS have that virtually all mmorpgs don\'t face at one time or another? (And, to be honest - you can\'t be pissed off at somebody about making people pay for his game).

Just to make that clear: No, I\'m not an RS addict. I did, to quote Babrook, \"a few skills.Laughed.Quit.Laughed some more\". There\'s way too little RP there for me. But I think the difference between RS and Diablo (2) is limited to the graphics and the amount of people online at the same time...

Feel free to point out anything that I might have missed ;)

RS is full of kids like you said, most other mmorpgs cost money, even though some kids convince their parents to pay for it, not all the whiny kids who just want to make everyone elses life bad can play a MMORPG that costs, that is the main reason RS is so bad... its free, and all the whiny kids can play it...

It also requires no computer skills at all. You don\'t even need to download or install a client.

Why can\'t we stop with these damn RS topic threads, you know what this isn\'t RS and never will be. We don\'t care about your opinions on the game, we sure the hell do not care about the game itself. Anything said about RS has been said a million times so can we not just get by without it on our minds anymore? Can we leave that game to its respected Forum and leave even our Hydlaa Plaza free of its tyranny. Please?
