Title: Just started the game

Hi, Just started the game.  From what I\'ve seen this is going to be a realy good 1.  I mean I had a 30 min conversation with NPC, never did that before.  But  I noticed I have no weapons spells or anything to start hunting with.  Where / how do I go about getting some free ones.  And where do I go for some monsters?

Anyother tips or advice would be great!

Both issues are related.
I\'d recommend you go to the sewers below the city and kill some rats there. They will leave loot behind (hides and eyes *eew* ) that you can pick up and sell, so this will give you the necessary money to buy weapons.
Don\'t worry, you\'ll be able to take on a rat without weapons, they\'re not too strong - but don\'t get too overconfident! :)

Ok sounds easy enough how do I get to the sewers from the starting area?

one entrance is near the smithys and the other behind the tavern, have a look around the town and ull find some interesting stuff
