Title: updater question

i just downloaded the game for windows and made an account too. but when i try to log in it tells me im running the wrong version of planeshift for the server. so i went to the updater and it says its downloading and theen is says that i need a new updater. it downloads the new updater then does the same thing over and over again. any suggestions??????

go into planeshift directory > updater temp , click edit > select all , copy and paste into planeshift directory, run updater ^^

where is the planeshift directory??????(im new, ive never actually played)

btw: i hope you choose a sensible name ^^ try to keep it fantasy/ medieval based :) if in doubt use the available name gen in character creation, or try Here (http://www.gamewyrd.com/archives/name.php)
