This post is not an suggested fix. It is FYI for the devs only. If the game is not working for you then I suggest you do as I intend to do, be patient and wait a day or two until until they release a patch.


I hope this info is useful to the devs ...

After the update problem ...

I removed the game
Reboot
Reinstall to v. ... .0005 of the game
Updater v. ... .21
tries to update
CRASH


I was previously able to run the v. ... .23 updater from v. ... .006 of the game but also got a crash

I have tried running the v. ... .005 game and it goes fine until the server replies with an incorrect version message

I have not  tried the v. ... .006 game as pre last update but other posts imply that it may  work if the updater is not run.

I did try the fix suggested in another post that suggests new content for the psupdater.cfg file.

That made no difference.

(currently downloading latest release)

I have the new version as well the V...006 u need to update it in order for it to run because u also get the incorrect version as well

You guys are going to seriously piss off the GMs if you don\'t start paying attention to previous posts.  There have been a TON of posts on this already and Talad even posted a \"fix\" (which doesnt work for me, but I trust that it will soon), in a previous post.  This is a dead topic stop complaining and creating clutter in the forums.
