Well, I\'ve looked through the other threads, and haven\'t seen a thread asking this specific question, so here it goes:
I just downloaded and installed PS today. I fixed the updater, it updated. I registered a PS account, and activated it.
So, I went to start the game. Laanx server is up for me. That\'s good. So I type in my email and password to log in, hit ok, and... nothing.
No runtime errors, no sudden closing of the program. No connecting, either. It says \"Connecting with Server\" at the bottom, but no go. The modem says something is going on, but I can\'t click out of the program, summon up the Close Program window, or anything else like that. It doesn\'t change at all.
So I restarted, tried again. Same thing.
Restarted the computer and tried again. Still no go.
I\'m in Windows ME (though I\'m normally on a Mac - I\'ll be downloading PS onto my mac when I get home later tonight), but the computer is barely used, so there aren\'t many files and documents. No other non-essential programs were open.
So, is it just trying to connect and taking a long time, or is there something I can do to fix this?
