I have read the posts on how the OpenGl Mode wont work for them and they can fix it by going to psclient.exe and fix it. I tried that but it still wont work is OpenGL Mode. It will work it Safe mode but not OpenGL Mode. It always crashes when it is loading the world. Thanks

when it crashes what does it do? do u get an error message or does it just not do anything? i had a similar problem where when i tried to go on it stopped at loading world, but it was actually just taking a really long time to load. i redownloaded it tried again, left my comp for an hour and when i got back it had loaded, and now it loads much faster, so u can try that if thats whats happening

oooohh
/spawn
-
Also.. if you see the chat bar when it doesn\'t load try typing /spawn like TCD said. Sometimes this works.

interesting post tcd.....im guessing thats not what you ment to have posted?
-
You also need a opengl card to use oPen GL
-
My problem is the same, in OpenGL mode it gets to Initialising World, and i guess because i use Win2k, it pops up a memory read error and shuts the program down, this doesnt happen in Safe mode, my computer more than meets the requirements to run PS in OpenGL
-
I heavily doubt this is because of the win2k,
I Run PS in OpenGl on win2k fine
-
im just saying i get the popup about memory read error because i run win2k, you dont really get those on 95/98/XP :D
-
Oh, lol, have you tried exiting everything running in the backround though?
I mean useless programs (Im not talking the main win2k proggy here ;) )
Because badly made programs often cause problems for other programs, so some bad program might be interrupting your memory, I don\'t know but it\'s worth a try.
-
that didnt work either, all i had running was the Win2k default processes and PS....this sucks, i got it to work once or twice
-
it\'s the crystal space thing, they were having errors, by now you might already know this though...
