Title: Bards? Cowards? Sycophants? Cut-Ups?
Post by: buddha on February 08, 2005, 12:45:18 am
There are a number of Heroes running around Hyplaa these days.  You know, the strong silent types.  These are good players who take their virtual  life very seriously.  They have a stern face, a steady hand and a will of iron.

I would like to start a thread here for another type of character.  The one who is all mouth.  I don\'t meet many of you out there, and I would really really like to.  For me, quiping is one of the essential acts of gaming.  I am sure there are others out there who spend more time attacking their compatriots than rats.

Perhaps this is a good thread to introduce ourselves, those of us who make our living with the Gift of Gab.  Tell us a little about who you are and how you would like to be greeted.  This will give us a nice basis for some good rping.

So I am offering you a service and a challenge.  I am the Mulla Nasrudin, the Town Fool who is wiser than he seems and dimmer than he thinks.  I would be delighted if you would seek me out.  Feel free to deride, insult, bully and generally harass me.  I promise, I will make it worth while, but I may steal some face from you in the process...

Want gab?  Look for a fellow named Drace Argentum.

Now, you might be splattered by rat guts in the midst of the chat, but that\'s just how it is until one can get funds from cleaner means.  Or until he can afford a spell so those guts turn to ashes before they splatter...

Not a jester, but certainly one who can talk about nothing and everything endlessly.
