I don\'t know if its my comp or what... My character gets surrounded by some green fog it looks like...then the whole screen glows green..then after a few seconds it stays like that...
anyone know whats goin on?
-
it does this to all my characters...but it never did it before...
-
I even made a new acount and its still all hazy like that...all i can see is the buttons once it turns green..and once i click on the buttons, the whole game screen turns green
-
No one knows how to fix this? or do you need some more info or something like that?
-
Make a screenshot, that will help the devs.
-
This is just a guess, but try typing /spawn in the command field. Only use it for bugs/glitches though. It\'s a cheap way to get back to Hydlaa.
-
all of my chars are in different locations and it still does it... and i cant type /spawn because i have to click on the chat...and clicking makes it so my whole screen turns green adn i cant do anything...
-
it only does this ingame and not when im choosing my char...so i figured its just my comp being slow...so i ran doom 3 (takes way more to run than this) and no green screen... so im figurin its the game...but no1 else has the problem so im confuzed

Post some specs and the settings of the setup tool
-
umm...
for ps settings: its 800x600 fullscreen, 32 bit, vertex buffer object is on and sound is set on software.
and i dont know how to take screenshots...
and do you need my comp specs or what specs?

its still green...

You could post your computer specs yes, if turning vertex off doesn\'t work. You make screenshots with the /screenshot command, but that doens\'t seem to work with you, so you could use the printscreen button. Then you must go to paint (if you\'re using windows) and paste it there and then save it.

ummm...ill just read you what it says on the comp...
330 intel celeron D processor
356 mb pc2700 ddr sdram memory
80 gb 7200 rpm ultra dma hardrive
cd-rw/dvd-rom combo drive (dunno if u actuall need that)
and thats what it says on my comp...im not to good at computers

Wow, that\'s weird. What\'s your graphics card and is it running the latest drivers available?
-
how do i check that?
and why would it run yesterday and not today, did the server upgrade or somethin?
-
Erm...
Okay, we\'ll try this way:
Go to Start and choose Run
Type \"dxdiag\" (no quotes) and press Enter
In the new window that appears, find the information about Graphics card
And if you don\'t know whether you\'re using the latest drivers, then simply put, you\'re not. Go to the manufacturer\'s website and download/install them.

Before i checked for the updates i logged back on because i did the reinstall earlier and it works now...srry for the troubles... im still gunna get those updates though thx guys.

About printscreen.
You\'re keyboard is divided into three parts.
1 the letters
2 arrow keys and other buttons
3 numbers
The printscreen button is in the second part. There\'s 9 buttons above the arrow keys and the printscreen button is in the upper left corner.
And Moogie, there\'s the possibility that he has on-board graphics, because he also has a celeron processor, and those are not very \"high end\". Pentium 4 computers are more likely to have a graphics card then celeron computers.
edit:
Okay, that\'s great Slagle. The installation might have been corrupt or something. Good luck with planeshift!

With the odd amount of ram he posted he almost certainly has an integrated video card that shares system RAM (typically much slowe than VRAM) likely similar to older HP or Compaq system.. just my guess
