i have recently downloaded PlaneShift, ran the updater and it updated, but when i come to actually start the game, before it gets to the menu it says

\"something unexpected happened in PlaneShift: Crystal Blue Exeption at address: 00CCCA46, Exeption code: C0000005\"

when i try to run the updater xp encounters an error.

what is going wrong

PLEASE HELP ME

p.s dont sugegst uninstalling and reinstalling, tried that all day

Did you try --auto? (Search the forums if you havn\'t)

you are going to have to guide me through this. i am a complete novice to these MMORPG thinkgis

Like I said, search the forums. Tutorials are in almost every Updater thread here, all it takes is for you to read them. :)

i am finally getting somewhere thankyou for the useful information.

One more thing, what does MMORPG stand for ive figured out G = games i think, whats the rest?
