When i run the game and strat creating character sometimes when i choose race my computer goes crazy! HELP??? Im begingin game for first time! Please help me soon!!

Have you tried a fresh install yet?

Remember we\'re alpha here (if even) so that\'s usually the simplest and most efficient (not to mention least bothersome to the techies) way of trying to fix something.

Don\'t bother doing anything untill a new client version gets put in the Updater, since that will fix 90% of these problems.

Hey, it says im not running the latest version...is there a new update? and my updater quit workin...but i know how to work around that

Does anyone get a message when creating character and choosing race wich says

Something unexpected has happened in PlaneShift:
Crystal Blue Exception at adress:00F4568C, Exception code:C0000005

Then it asks if you like to save diagnostic file

Is this bug or can i fix it?

It\'s a bug, and you should save the file, upload it to a server somewhere and put a link to it in the thread asking for diagnostic files (http://www.planeshift3d.com/wbboard/thread.php?threadid=14278&boardid=33&styleid=3), along with the exception error you got (Crystal Blue Exception at adress:00F4568C, Exception code:C0000005 in your case). That will be the only way to help the devs eliminate the bug.

seromio what did you do to fix it im having the same problem and reinstalling just made the error message show up right when i start it instead of when i load the game.
