K not to complain or anything but at the moment we all know money is to hard to get. I mean in my opinion money shouldn\'t be easy to get but atleast a bit easier then Progression points becuase you also want some money left for fun.
Now why should the developers do this you ask? I mean it\'s a beta so don\'t complain. Well becuase it IS a beta. It\'s there to look for bugs and so people should be trying out things and with money being so scarce people aren\'t trying things out and bugs that deliver gold don\'t seem to get reported very fast by players.
Now how to get more money into the game? Well get things like making weapons to sell for money work as fast as possible and at first don\'t make it to hard to earn something on it. You can always make it harder as more ways to make money appear.
Second lets have more monsters drop stuff then the rat and the tefusang and the ocasional rogue/thug. This way people will try to kill other monsters.
The other reason ofcourse is that this would make it more of a game and more enjoyable to play and think thats the goal in the end to make a game people like to play.
just some typo\'s editted ;)

There\'s that one quest that\'s pretty good for money...
The issue now is that some people lost just about everything they had from that quest (Losing.. three glyphs.. and two silver falchions.. HURTS...).
What might be nice, however, is if they did a wipe after they had all the professions working, allowing the quests again, so people could \'grow\' in to roles as in the final game concept.
-
I agree, I had 8000 tria worth of glyphs and two long swords. I lost everything and being that I started playing on the 14th, I was really screwed. I cannot repeat that \"one\" quest with the big payload, so I\'ve just decided to start over with a new character. I\'m all for having more critters (gobbles, rogues, etc.) drop stuff after killing them. That would help, or even having a bigger payoff for mining stuff. It takes forever to do that and you get like 20 tria for it.

more money will circulate once more npc are implemented and when economy takes off
-
True Kasejin but when the econnomy is ready the game will mostly be ready and so most of the bugs should be fixed by then and the point is that at this moment there needs to be money for people to do things in the game to find those bugs.
PS: I know of one quest but that one doesn\'t pay out much anymore. :P

We will all get richer when jobs come along. Money doesnt seem that hard to get. I think a good sword should be an investment anyways. This isn\'t the type of game where you switch your set to a better one 6 times a day...
-
The game isn\'t p2p and so you people should calm down, it is not like you will run out of money to subscibe to the game.
I think that the devs are taking advantage of the fact that people will be able to play as long as they like and making progression a little slower...this also rewards loyal players.
That and the fact that there aren\'t enough NPCs and crafting skills to bring in a lot of money are whats keeping such a large number of people poor
-
Lets look at training:
42 tria to train 1 progressionpoint.
A Tefusang gives you 16 tria and 1 pp
Only being able to carry ten teeth before heading back
This means that you get progression points way to easy or money not easy enough it\'s one or the other. I am not counting bugs most players used to get money myself included.
Mining isn\'t profitible specially with only ten ore you can carry and the long distances you need to walk.
The only way to make money and not get swamped in PP would be to kill tefusang in the arena that give only 50 exp but I doubt the idea of the game was that all players are waiting in line to kill the three tefusang spawning there.
To Waylander I know the devs are still working and improving but this is the wishlist and I made this post to point out that this is on the very top of \"my wishlist\" miles ahead of any other wishes.

lol, we meet again.
I agree with you though about there not being enough money...though in my post it sounded like I didn\'t I would like to bring your attention to the last couple lines
That and the fact that there aren\'t enough NPCs and crafting skills to bring in a lot of money are whats keeping such a large number of people poor.
Not that I point out the fact that there aren\'t enough NPCs and crafting skills. The tria/exp ratio you get from monsters is about right because as it is it will encourage players to craft and such and not just hack and slash. It is better that we get used to this ratio now than have a cut back of the reward in the future.
And I do recognize that this is the wish list, I wish(hahaha...sorry) only to defend the current state and not attack the state that you wish for.

Indded we meet again ;)
Well true the monsters all giving loot wasn\'t my idea specially not the biggest. The pp should be enough then and you should have been able to develop skill to make money other ways.
Having some diversity on the lower levels might be a good idea though and still insist on the implementing of a skill in witch you can make some money to counter the fact you get nothing from most monsters on higher levels.
Ofcourse making some weapons only availeble with those skills would also make people get those skills upgraded, but that is an other matter al togehter ;)
-
Well know most should know by now but your no longer restricted to gathering only 10 teeth of tefu\'s. :) Haven\'t tried it with ore but no reason to think it\'s different with that. Finally we can make money the honest way again LOL ;)
-
...money is the biggest problem!!!
Try to fix that as soon as possible...
-
Money is only hard for me to get because of the lag. So it takes for ever to get back to the shops!
-
I think that every type of monster should drop like 2 or 3 trias. Long ago I quit killing things that were not either Tefusangs or rats. There are no rewards in the others so why bother. The problem with this is if amount of gold dropped depended on strength of the monster... then more people would be getting monsters trapt in doorway killing monsters that they would never have a chance killing. But I do understand everything is being worked on.

i think that all monsters should be lootable, but you shouldn\'t be able to sell all items (to NPC\'s that is...you sould be able to sell everything to other players...an open market :P).
they could \"drop\" items that could only be used to forge things and create other items, and that you could trade with other players.
i think with other \"jobs\" people won\'t give too much attention to the monsters...

LEARN FROM OTHER MMORPG!!!! like HORIZONS wot a mmo....u can sell ANYTHING to the oawnbroker (npc) but u wont get tht much money....everythign relies on players...since players make almsot everything at the begging of game prices wer low and now the high...but since there are so many players u can earn money...they higher lvl u are the more money u earn.

Why can\'t people simply get this?
This is BETA ON THE ALPHA, NOT BETA!
It means it\'s the test version of the \"proof of concept\" version.
Balancing will have a great part in the next release, which this release will evolve into, so expect to see some balancing \"soon\" TM.
It\'s not like we don\'t notice these things ourselves, yeeez
