I heard a rumor that the wipe is coming VERY SOON.  Is this true or simply ficticous

Stupid rumors. There was one that CB was due in July of last year...
These are just stupid things being told around. The wipe wont come for a while.

Well the wipe always seems to be just around the cornor, but never quite there... either way we havnt been told anything so we can only guess.  Of course it depends on who passed this rumor on to you... wasnt somebody called Talad by any chance?

Isn\'t there a sticky on this subject, even if you cant post or ask questions there it does explain that they don\'t know when the next wipe will be...

hehe, If it\'s a rumor completely ignore it. There hasn\'t been one rumor concerning the release or major event in the development in planeshift that has  come true as far as I know.

Since these rumours keep coming, eventually one of them will be true.  That\'s all the general public will need to think that they should believe all rumours of this ilk.   Oh well, that\'s how the \"psychic\" thing is perpetuated!

Hmm if I do remember there was a rumor about CB coming out around christmas, and it did :)

:D Consider the wipe as something magical. just like the first overnight snowfall in real life you never know when it will happen. You go to sleep in a normal world and wake up in a white world. The closest thing to magic in real life.

Now imagine you log out PS one day and log back in the next and you\'re back to zero It\'s magic  :D You never know when it\'s going to happen

I can\'t wait for the wipe simply because I made some huge mistakes in the character creation part for my transfer character.

ah yes the wipe... messed your character up? lol, my is completely wrong! wrong race, bad stats and skills... Can\'t wait for the wipe :S

A wipe definately would be good.  THis isnt to say more bugs and events will occur, but atleats it will put the game into an even playing field.
