Only advise is to either wait out the problem or to make a new character.

I had this problem in the sewers however, I never had this anywhere else in Hydlaa. So I suggest you check to see if it is just the sewers or the entire game. If it turns out those gobbles are up to no good: avoid the sewers. ;)

I am having this problem also, but it seems to affect me mostly in the arena. I will get the server dropped us message every time I go to the arena. I have not tryed the sewers yet, but will take your word for it.

I got it in the arena haven\'t tried the sewers but seeing previous posts it seems to have something to do with monsters I would guess. Haven\'t had any problems on the plaza. well not THIS problem anyhow ;)

Every few minutes pretty much regardless of where I am I get disconnected with the whole \"invalid error message\" thing.
I started up a packet sniffer, and waited to get the error message. the following was the last packet that showed up in the conversation:

0000  00 02 2d 68 37 61 00 30  ab 1b e5 f6 08 00 45 00
0010  00 80 00 00 40 00 2e 11  91 13 cb 51 2f 5b c0 a8
0020  00 05 1c ba 08 31 00 6c  07 0d 00 00 5d c2 63 00
0030  00 00 00 55 00 00 00 55  00 07 52 00 97 00 00 00
0040  59 6f 75 20 61 72 65 20  6c 69 6e 6b 64 65 61 64
0050  2e 20 28 49 66 20 79 6f  75 27 72 65 20 72 65 61
0060  6c 6c 79 20 67 65 74 74  69 6e 67 20 74 68 69 73
0070  20 6d 65 73 73 61 67 65  20 72 65 70 6f 72 74 20
0080  74 68 69 73 20 70 6c 65  61 73 65 21 29 00

Which for those of you that can\'t speak hex is:

..-h7a.0 ......E.
....@... ...Q/[..
.....1.l ....].c.
...U...U ..R.....
You are  linkdead
. (If yo u\'re rea
lly gett ing this
 message  report
this ple ase!).

or...

You are linkdead. (If you\'re really getting this message report this please!).

I don\'t know if that particular linkdead error message might shed some light on this subject for anyone who might be able to fix it. I can provide a full packet capture file if anybody wants it.

BTW: It didn\'t happen at all until yesterday, immediately after I ran the updater.

We\'ve had a couple of problems lately but slowly fixing them up as we go.  We\'ve made a couple big \"Behind the scenes\" changes like removing the stack count to go to a weight/capacity system and also working on some improved GUI system.

Hopefully this bug has been fixed tonight.  Keep checking laanx.fragnetics.com for server updates.
