Does this have anything to do with the \"you are not running the correct version for this server\" message that I got today? I was in last night, and I\'m running 3.007 (for Mac) already, so I\'m confused. Thanks.

From what I understand they just updated some core components and the new components were not compatible with the map data format so the game keeps crashing on people.  They are resolving that problem now.  There was also another problem that was fixed, I think yesterday that prompted them to release a new version.  I\'m not sure if you can just update to the new version or if you need to download the new installer.

Basicaly, it seems we can expect things to be a little haywire the next couple days while the devs get the new components stabilized.

Patience... it\'s all for the good of the game :)

Heh... patience I have, but I went through such a rigamorole (is that even a word anymore?) to get the game working in the first place, that I\'m not sure I\'ll be able to do it again... seems like I was one of only a few Mac users to actually get it working. Someone actually said that for solidarity\'s sake I shouldn\'t play... :) So the idea of updating again doesn\'t sound fun. But I\'ll keep trying, for now, anyway.

yeh updating right now wont help you very much we\'re just going to have to wait for dfryrs next patch.
