Title: I can't login! :(((

Hi everyone. :)

 I\'m a newbie here in Planeshift and since yesterday I keep trying to login in the game, but it never works... It keeps saying: The server is unreachble or failed, something like that. The localhost and the Laanx are always failing the connection..
 I have downloaded the Windows Installer and I\'ve already downloaded all the updates needed.

 Please help me!
 I\'m really looking forward to play the game...

Check that your firewall/router is not blocking UDP traffic through port 7354.

Sorry to bother again... but now, even before appearing the login screen, appears a small box from the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library saying that there was a Runtime error and the application had to be terminated and then the game screen disappears. :S

 Please help me once more. :(

Hi there,

I?m totally new here, too.
I?m trying since a few hours to log in, but no success. I get the same message as Phoenix. At the website from fragnetics the server is shown offline.
How can I see, if server is up or down?

From what I know, if at laanx.fragnetics.com the server is offline, then, the server should be down.
A way to know that, is maybe to try to contact somebody that play PS and ask him/her, or join the IRC channel and ask people there... or.. !?

i can log in until the charadter screen but after that, microsoft comes and said the planeshift has an error and needs to close.  I think i hav firewall but im afraid that if i turn it off,  my computer will get destroy.  i\'ve been playing planeshift for about 2 weeks and now i can\'t play anymore.  I really want to play again!  Please answer as soon as possible.

Well, if you get an error, more than firewall problems, it should be Planeshift having some trouble.

I DOWNLOADED THE WINDOWS INSTALLER BUT IT KEEP SYAING:YOU ARE NOT RUNNING THE CORRECT VERSION OF PLANE SHIFT FOR THIS SERVER:PLEASE HELP ME

Hi!

One basic rule of Internet is to not \"scream\". Scream in internet means Do not write everything in capital letters!!!!

Except this, run the updater, if you use windows, go to start - > program files - > Planeshift crystal Blue -> Planeshift Updater
