Hi I\'m looking to start a women only guild.
I don\'t know if it\'s a good idea or not but I think it might be fun. I have the webspace at http://www.starlightgrotto.com to do a guild site on. If anyone is interested please post about it here. I know we all look like old dwarf men in the game at the moment but we\'ll look girly eventually :]

It makes a nice change to see an all girl guild, but I would kinda miss the boys I\'m afraid, it\'s sometimes nice to have a mix. You might be up against it at the moment we are far outnumbered by the guys and getting enough girls to make a guild will be tough, but eventually it could work.

i don\'t mean for it to sound sexist. but there are normally more male players in these types of games and sometimes it\'s good for us to stick together. Sorry if it sounded biased or anything to you. :(

Well, an \"all girls guild\" might end up in quite a few conflics since a lot of guys(not me) think women are inferier... :(

Well, this is a really interesting topic i have missed...
The idea sounds great, evil at that....i like it. But yeah, there are not so many female players in this game, or not so many that i have seen, let\'s see:
Princess Aelya
Kada-El
Gnonomist
Magdalena
WhiteDust(lone wolf, corect me if i am wrong)
Alina
maybe couple more, but i can\'t seem to remember... ?(
Anywho, most are have already got something to do, guilds that they have joined/lead, fan sites that they host, and some are just lone hunters, and they are not looking for a guild. But as i have said, the idea is great, and I would encourage you to go along with it.

kada has the power of beer, she closes the bar we go bye bye, check if anath or gronomist want to join :P and i remember something about an all guy guild a while ago, jus so no one goes on that sexist thing. i think the accuser of it being sexist was kada :P
i really dont care, in games like everquest ive seen tons of all girls guilds, no one has a problem with it

as much as i dont rly like the idea of this guild, i try to be a nice guy and i know a girl that i can probably get to start playing PS and if she does il talk her into joining ur guild, just be nice to me mmk?

I would like to help start the guild with you. Though guys can be cool and there are a lot of them playing these games, we could go a long way with a female only guild, kind of like the tribes of Amazonian women or something like that... I don\'t know, its rather late.

Well I don\'t know about anyone else....but an all female guild seems much more appealing than an all male guild....and seeing as how (doesn\'t know for a fact) it seems males outnumber females here that is probably why it is more accepted :]

Hehe that was a good bit of research, digging up that old male guild thread Kendrick. After what Cyo said on the first page of this thread I was glad to see I hadn\'t accused them of being sexist back then ( :P Cyo), because I still whole heartedly support Magdalena in the formation of this exclusive guild. Yeah I suppose you do have a point Kendrick and it is kinda sexist, but I think it\'s more acceptable because we are so outnumbered here at the moment.

I don\'t think it is sexist at all. If you were to say something like \"women are stupid and should stay in the kitchen where they belong\", that would be sexist. But just wanting to start a guild so that you can just play a game with a bunch of other females/males (whatever) is in no way sexist.

Yeah they are a bit glowy, that\'s just due to the cursor highlighting the character, don\'t worry it\'s nothing to do with your precious leather outfits ;)
OK Cyo easy mistake I suppose, it\'s the kinda thing I might have done - in fact when you said I had accused the male guild of being a sexist idea, I actually thought I had done! :D But I\'m glad I didn\'t, there\'s nothing wrong with it (unless you tried to do something like that in the real world then you would have all kinds of discrimination law suits thrown at you - geesh what a world we live in ;) )
