Moderators, YES I did do a search for a post similar to this. nothing. And if I\'m being Silly (like saying that Planeshift needs to be bigger) I\'m sorry.
This is the Post where you put your ideas for Weapons.
This is the way you put the desription for each

Weapon Type: (Spear, Sword, Claymore, something anyone can already know)
Description: ????
Size: (hey, who knows how big that things gonna be)
Special Attribute: (Fire Damage, ice Damgae, Splash damage, you get the point)
Orgins:( Dwarfs, Human, elfves, orcs, ect)
(Optional) Weaknesses and Strenghts: (Example: This weapon is not effective at this [monster], but is effective about this, this, this and blah blah. Get it?)
Heres are my Weapons I will suggest:
Name: Monks Spade
Weapons Type: Spear
Description: A long Spear with a blade that is in a shape of a spade, the spade is long and wide.and each point is sharp. Can be also used for digging and possibly mining.
Special Attributes: Able to hit multiple of enemies.
Weaknesses and Stregths: Slow, but can unflict great damage on an oponent.
Name: Energy Shard Sword
Weapon Type: Sword (Energy)
Decription: This weapon is a crystal a very small one, once the user put it inside a fist, the shard will emit a energypt beam, outstretching from the tops of the fist and a little at the bottom. It takes up Mana little by little slowly.
Special: Attribute: N/A
Weaknesses and Streghts: Takes a portion of Mana when you start it. then it drains, weapon is more suitable for a magic user. It has Fast attacks and does good damage. but it is useless against Magic-Resistant enemies.

How far can we push technology?
How about a wheel lock or flint lock type arms - long distance, lousy aim, single shot but if you hit it kills - Of course loading the darn thing takes time, first you powder, then plug, then ball then thumb back the flint (you do have flint - right?) and if you are lucky, your powder didn\'t get wet, or you didn\'t put in to much or too little you might get a shot off in a few minutes time...
Good for those who don\'t have the bow skill or magic skill but would like to have a long distance weapon.

The Supreme Sword of the Dark Ruler\'s 3rd Son
THE ULTIMATE DARK WEAPON OF THE GAME
Very long Extra havy Dark Energy Emulating Sword... {nicely crafted triple blade {on the balde in demonic letter you will find spelled out: This blade has cut through all the bodies of El-Enekorie Troops} [big long one in the middle and two tiny ones on the sides]}... the handle is crafted with high level dark magic and alhemy symbols... A bit translucent... Dark... Supremely Powerfull... Unreakable...
Thee sword can cut though basic metals without much problem... it emits Dark energy which powersup it ownwer {Faster attack speed, higher health regeneration}... and it dains the oponents regeneration powers during the battle... It also emits a powerfull Dark Protection Spell around it owner {magical shield sort off...}... Weak creatures run shall get scared of it easyly... It has a few nice nmagical features:
ISOLATION - isolates the player and his/her oponet in a dimension of pure darkness so no one would disturb their figh (Good fer parties seperation)...
AIR RIP: Creates a higly concentated current (thik as a balde so it would slice throuygh the meat) of air that can reach an enemy and deal great damage...
CRYSTALIZTION: Crystalizates every openent that is close so the player could attack im\' without much problem...
ENSLAVEMENT: second strongest attack- when a moster is almost beaten - the player can make the monster be his loyal slave...
DARK EYE SPHERE OF THE 3rd SON: ultimate attack drains 25% health of the player and unleashes a destructive sphere {with an angry eye} that when touches anything explodes like a room of {good quality} TNT...

Type : sword
Description : A blade simthing with a pice of Crystal Gliph, very good again monster of dark but not good again magic monster who used the crystal magic.
Special ability : very luminous in the night, and equiped recorver your hp one by one :)

Type: Enhanced Drinking Glass
Description: In the dangerous life around the tavern, one has to arm themself with the nearest blunt object in a fight. The tavern has a common rule of no blades or weapons, so many have dealt with the issue by making modified mugs which meet the tavern standards. 4 cups worth of ale, and modified tipped spikes lining the bottom are sure to leave anyone a little less brave in a bar fight.
Special ability: Immediate knockouts in hand to hand combat.
Size: Average Mug.

Type: Flexible Weapon
Description: Very light flexible chain with a sharp point on the last link of the chain.
Size: varies by character size and skill. A very skilled fighter could use two at the loss of defence.
Origins: Elves or Klyros.
Strengths and Weaknesses: Useless offensively against heavy armor. Easy to hurt oneself at low levels of skill
Name: Rope
Type: Flexible Weapon
Description: Very versatile weapon with a powerful defense and a decent attack
Origins: Klyros
S&W: Almost useless agains a long sword, polearm or spear, but powerful defense against most other weapons, especially bare hand combat. Lethal when combined with a dagger.

This brings back flashes to Everquest\'s \"Stein of Mogguk\" and the \"Opal Encrusted Stein.\"
As a level 52 Enchanter I walked around duel wielding two mugs for the better part of my career.
There should be one con though to your mug.. that is your intelligence is immediately lowered many points by simply holding it however your endurance sky rockets. : )

Staff of Ancients
This staff has a crystall at it\'s tip, gleaming with power. Able to cast powerful spells among enemies in groups or single.
Regular attacks just shoot out fire or ice or any element
Orgins: Demorian (spell it right?)
Size: About the size of a normal spear
Stregth and Weaknesses: Strong spells take up much mana, but easily countered by mana items

Name: Deadly Gigomni Enducer of Ravendarkbonestilletodor.
Type: Tickle Stick
Description: A flexible stick with a large feather tied to the end, used to strike at armpits and the soles of feet.
Special Ability: Enki stop everything to attempt to chase the feather.
Size: Depends on who you want to attack.

I figured a another weapon.
Oriental Katana
Type: Katana (a long Japanese sword)
Description: This is a very rare blade, only sold to traders who go trade as far as they can see. This sword is made by one of the most greatest of all blacksmiths in oriental areas. It has Chinese (or Japanese) words engraved on it. It is long and wide, and very light in a way.
Special Attribute: Able to do a critical strike, do double or triple damage (30% chance)
Orgins: Unknown
Weaknesses and Streghts: Needs time to know how the weild, almost no weakness, just can\'t much impact on very HEAVY armored opponents

Weapon Type: Book
Description: This large book can be used to whap people on the head. It does (1/10 str + (5 * P)) damage. If used with 2 hands, the Text Book does 10 more damage.
Size: 5 pounds. 30cmx20cmx7cm. 792 pages.
Attributes: This book can be opened and read. It is full of useless knowlege such as \"If a car is moving 60kph, and another car moving at it is moving 30 kph, how fast is the large rock moving on the side of the road?\" and other useless information that text books tend to offer.
Origin: People who think they are geiuses but aren\'t

Name: Encrested Azure Longsword
Weapon Type: Longsword
Description: Used by the Hydlaa Legionary force during the time of the Lybrinth Siege. Each sword is made of pure refined Platinum Ore pounded into perfection by silver finish hammers, a single Azure crystal fragment lies in the middle section of the sword.
Size: The average shape of a longsword.
Special Attribute: 6 extra points to sword skill, 2 extra points to agility, causes Half-splash dmg to nearby monsters, 50% increased magic find, 45% increased accuracy, 10% chance of causing frost, and flame dmg.
Orgins: The Legionary consisted of a range of elite soldiers consisting of all kinds of races. Was used to keep siege monsters at bay and ridding of small groups of footsoldiers. The tradegetic failure of losing the siege of the lybrinth and the following sealing has caused the legionary to disband as with the loset of many of these fine swords. Only a few whereabout of these prized swords are known.
Weaknesses and Strengths: Causes 35% more damage to siege monsters and causes 10% splash damage to nearby non-targeted monsters. -15% lost accuracy to smaller groups of monsters. -3 skill levels in all ways are deducted. -20 mana is deducted to your total amount of mana

Fire Sword (original, but every game needs it!)

A sword with a fiery glow around it
Same size as a sword
+25% chance of open wounds
+40% better accuracy

Burning hit
Forged in the volcanic regions of Yliakum by ancient blacksmiths, using a special stone which enchants the metal on a sword with a fiery glow. It has weird markings on it, which no creature has knowledge of to decypher
(+)Burns the enemy for additional damage
(-)Durability goes down fast against water

A 2 Handed Axe with 4 blades on the end
A 2 Handed Axe, you calculate the size :P

Can be thrown
Barbaric warriors used these weapons in combat long ago. The blades were made sharp with crystalized tips to break through plated armor. This weapon proved slightly ineffective for its weight, which drastically slowed attack speed, making the weilder vulnerable to attack from all sides.
(+)Powerful, has a chance to kill an enemy in one swing

Costs: Gemstone discs may be used up physically as projectiles, or require recharging with mana. Diffcult to produce, may backfire on creator. Very expensive to acquire, therefore reserved for those who can afford it.
Control: Willed.

Description: small twig used to poke the opponent in the eye with.
Advantage: Hurts like a *****!!
Desadvantage: kinda too short to reach a kran.

Name : Double tooth
Type : two-handed sword
Description : The Double Tooth is a huge, heavy weapon wielded by only the most strenghtened people. It has been forged by a very skilled artist, who used two oriental blade to make one.
Require : 150 strengh 50 dexterity, 2 hands, or 300 strengh 200 dexterity, one hand, while wearing this weapon, cannot use a shield. (for the strenght prerequisite,s i\'m thinking that the character start with 10-15 strenght like in WoW, so the weapon is for high level people)
Impact type : crushing (repel monster 1 yard away if they don\'t die)
Advantages : huge, beautiful, dangerous, can hit multiple targets
Disadvantages : huge, dangerous, heavy, slow, not so effective against Krans
To see what I mean, this is the figurine that insipred me, because i love this bulky mass of muscular fiercery with this amazing sword.

To be more reasonable, another weapon :
Name : Katar
Type : Fist blade
Description : this is a blade, mounted on a wooden assemblage, that make it the termination of the arm.
Require : 20 strenght 20 dexterity, one hand, or 40 strenght 40 dexterity 2 hand for a couple of them. If two of them are wielded, can\'t use shield
Impact : piercing
Advantage : fast, cool, not emcumbering.
Disadvantage : not effective against kran

Name : Bucklerblade
Type : buckler / sword
Description : it\'s a melting of a sword and a buckler
Impact : piercing, cuting
Require : One hand, can\'t wear another sword in the other hand.
Strenght : can protect and attack, it\'s a polyfunction weapon
Weakness : because it\'s not specialized in defense or attack, it\'s not very good at the two. Medium quality sword and medium quality buckler, that\'s better than nothing.

Weapon type: Knife that has the properties of a boomerang.
Description: The boomerage knife \\is shaped like a V, once thrown, it was swiftly cut the monster, causing good damage, it then comes back to the user\'s hand ready for another throw
Weapon\'s Length: as long as a Short sword
Weakness & Strenghts: Almost useless in close quarters, but a good thing to have when you have a party with you

Type: Sword
Description: this sword is forged by the famous royal blacksmiths of Yliakum. One of the best swords that can be weild by any race. The sword is big, and is really thick, resistant, and light. Can attack quickly and cause great damage. Very useful when fighting on a horseback. It can be enchanted into a fire knight\'s sword, ice, wind, etc.
Size: about 2 3/4 feet
Orgins: Human
Strenghts and Weaknesses: Great close combat weapon against warriors, and fighters a like. But Doesn\'t pack much of a punch against sheild-based magic.

Name: Crossbow Repeater
Type: Special Crossbow
Description: Scientist and crafters one time made a brilliant idea, the crossbow repeater. It is a big cross bow that can fire every second. The crossbow uses cheap, light, but deady arrows. the arrows are are inserted into a type of arrow \"magazine\". And once fired, it fires at a great speed and rate. It goes 1 arrow for about .5 second. A blade in the front is added for close quarter combat.
Orgins: Elves (Hey, Legolas is an elf, and he uses a bow.. right?)
Strenghts and Weaknesses:
Fires at a really fast rate, does great damage on both light and heavy armored troops. But it\'s noisy, so you can\'t make a silent kill with it.

Weapon Type: Cutlass
Description: This cutlass is forged by vampires to cut the throat of their victims quickly, so they can drink the blood fastly

Name: the viscosan blade
Weapon Type: Sword
Description: a medium length sword of english of medival design. a scalloped ring is enscribed above the hilt on both sides.
Size: 2.5 to 3 feet in length
Special Attribute: none known
Orgins: uncertain. all that is asuredly known is that it was crafted and weilded by a master human warrior-smith.
(Optional) Weaknesses and Strenghts: none known
the vicosan blade has much more myth and story surronding it than actual fact. research with the sword itself tends to indicate that it has no magical nature. much of the skill reportedly exhibited by its original owner, was native to that yliak. however, there is some indication that there is at the most a latent energy within it. this energy, if it exsists, is not glyph based. the romantically inclined, claim, of this, that the sword sleeps. awaiting the day when an equal of its old master arises.

Weapon Type: Explosive
Description: A barrel of explosives used to blow stuff up and for obtaining ores
Size: Varied on how big you want the explosion to be
Special Attribute:Fire Damage and Splash damage
Orgins: Mining dwarfs who thought it would be faster to blow the ores out than picking them.
Weaknesses and Strenghts: Splash damage and unpredictability on fuse burning time
I am surprised nobody thought of explosive weopons...

Name: Alchemic Gloves
Type: HtH
Description:As it says the alchemic gloves are for alchemist class characters who also speciaize in melee fighting the gloves would bestow a random damaging effect on the target character the strength of the damage would be directly related to the lvl of alchemic skill said character posesses
Weaknesses:extremely close ranged Dist:0-1
should not be used by low lvl characters beacause well beacause they are low lvl
finally: A posibility of disintegration upon contact
rareness : depends on user this item should be self crafted
strength : see rareness

Name: Practice Sword
Weapon Type: Sword
Description: A sword made of wood, used for practicing fights
Special Attribute: Damage is halved, but you get a 5% chance to get a extra practice point when using, damage is non-lethal in PvP (brings them to 1 hp)
Don\'t know much about pvp since i never do it but would be nice if it doesn\'t kill the opponent when used for dueling

Description: Looks like a beautiful magical sword
Special Attribute: every time you hit the opponent successfully it deals 1 damage to you and has a 5% chance to heal the oponent instead of damaging him
this would really only be useable if you had some way of making it hide the fact that its cursed

Name: Necromancer\'s Staff
Weapon Type: Staff
Description: Looks like a Twisted wooden staff made from some type of dark wood, with a black crystal inlade into the top of the staff
Special Attribute: Has a 1% chance to raise a monster you kill with it to fight for you for 60 seconds, 1% chance to give you health equal to half the amount of damage you dealt to the enemy when you kill it, has a 2% chance to raise the enemy back to life (full health) not under your control
the monster you raise with it (when its under your control) has a 40% chance that it will die after the 60 seconds are up (if it hasnt died by conventional means), a 40% to turn on you after the 60 seconds are up and will attack you until killed or for 30 secs, and has a 20% chance that it will stay alive and under your control for an additional 30 secs or until killed. the creature raised by such dark means should have a major penalty to agi and be alot easier to hit (most likely 0 agi since it wouldnt be actively trying to dodge it would just be shambling around trying to kill whomever appears to be he enemy)
Also the health you receive is based on the last hit that was dealt to it (i hit it for 20 damage when i kill it i get 10 health back)
